"Right well let's begin our first session shall we!" Mia chirped. She pulled out two pieces of paper and pens and chucked them on the table. "I want you to take your pieces of paper and write down what you know about each other."

I raise my eyebrow and scoff as I pick up the piece of paper from the table. Thomas does the same and starts scribbling his answers down. I look down at the piece of A4 paper and my fingers caress the sheet. It's whiter than the clouds in the sky, purer than anything I saw, there was nothing that tainted this piece of paper. It was like a fresh slate of paper. I couldn't help but look at it in envy, it's representation was nothing compared to my relationship with Thomas. It was tainted and slung with mud. I took a deep breath and started scribbling down what I knew about him.

'- His name is Thomas Samuels.

His parents are Alpha Henry Samuels and Luna Amy Samuels.

His father and Parents were previous leaders of the Lotus Pack.

Thomas is now the Alpha of the Lotus pack.

Thomas' parents taught him about mates.

Thomas' parent hold good morales and values.

Thomas' girlfriend is the Delta of the Lotus pack.

Thomas rejected his mate.'

With that I looked at my handwriting that was stretched across the piece of paper. The paper was bare, there was nothing more that I knew about him. I was never given the opportunity to speak or get to know Thomas. He rejected me and my wolf before I could even start a topic of conversation. When he was rejecting me I made a decision that I wouldn't dwell on him, that I wouldn't think about him, that I would let go of the twisted thread of fate. For I knew that I would only fall into a deeper depression. The one that was already starting to develop and manifest below the surface, the feelings of despair that I tried to ignore.

I shook my head and folds the piece of paper and passed it to Mia. Thomas soon followed my movements and pushed himself back into his chair. His scent was something that was frustrating me, the smell of pine and mint was mixing within the sea salt air. It was something that caused me to rub my legs in friction due to the tantalising sensation that was overtaking my body. Even if my wolf wasn't answering me, the bond was still in tack, my animal senses were still there.

Mia took the pieces of paper and her fingers rubbed along the edges. What shocked me the most was that she did not look at what we read and simply mysteriously pulled out an envelope and placed them inside. "Thank you for writing them down." She smiled. "Now that you have both written down what you know it's time for you to share things about yourself. Get to know each other, maybe even become friends?"

"Friends? It feels like a stranger on ship passing by." I frowned. I looked up and didn't realise that my inner thoughts had slipped my lips. I couldn't help but gasp and place my hand over my mouth.

Mia chuckled. "Yes you spoke that out loud, but don't worry. There is nothing wrong about being open about your feelings. From what I have seen, I can tell that you are strangers, there is nothing in your description. However, like I said before it would be good to keep an open mind. May I suggest not lingering on any feelings and just take the day to know the basics. Maybe pretend that you have met for the same time, that you are both human without the connection of your wolves?" She queried with a smile.

I gave her a curt nod and for the first time Thomas directly responded to her question. "Yes that would be fine." His voice today lacked tiredness or grogginess but the tone was smooth and had this soothing musical affect on my body. I could feel myself becoming frustrated at my reaction towards him. My fingers curled and sudden I felt this zap dance across the tops of my fingers. I furrowed my brow wondering why it felt like a current of electricity run through my palm. I shook my head and looked at Mia.
