Third P.O.V
This was it. Today was the day (Y/N) proposes to Angelica.
(Y/N) planned it perfectly. They were going to meet at a park by the lake, then after a romantic boat ride, (Y/N) would pop the question.
Instead of being nervous, (Y/N) felt confident that they could accept any outcome.
Would they like to spend the rest of their life with Angelica? Of course! But if they get rejected, (Y/N) had no intention of letting that get in the way of their work(not to mention that the chance of Angelica rejecting them is 0.2%).
Smiling to themselves, (Y/N) confidently left for the park.
Today Angelica was wearing a cute purple dress with short sleeves.
I could use that to my advantage.
(Y/N) thought with a smirk.
"Are you ready?"
(Y/N) asks.
"Sure."
(Y/N) leads Angelica to the small dock and into the rented boat.
"You sure had this planned."
Angelica commented. The wind blew and leaves flew all around them. Angelica shivered slightly.
(Y/N) stopped rowing and put their jacket around Angelica's shoulders.
"So romantic."
Angelica teased. The two stayed on that lake for what felt like hours, admiring the scenery.
When they got off the boat, (Y/N) decided it was time.
"Angelica."
"Yes?"
Angelica responds as (Y/N) grabs her hands.
"We've been dating for a few years, but for me, it feels like it's been centuries. I have been captivated by you since the moment we met."
(Y/N) dropped down to one knee.
"And I believe we could truly be happy together, so would you-"
"(Y/N)!!! WHERE ARE YOUUUUUU?"
The sweet moment was interrupted by a loud female voice.
A young girl with red hair and blue eyes engulfed (Y/N) in a hug.
"I found you!~"
The girl giggled as she pulled away.
"Princess Naomi!?"
Angelica gasps. (Y/N) takes a step back.
"I greet her royal highness."
(Y/N) had completely forgot about this crazy princess.
"Oh, silly! You don't need to call me that, my fiancée should call me by my name!"
Naomi says cheerfully. (Y/N) and Angelica both felt awkward.
"I'm sorry princess, but I believe this is the first time we have met."
(Y/N) decided to play dumb.
"Surely you haven't forgotten me! Don't you remember saving me a few years ago?"
Naomi doesn't give (Y/N) a chance to respond.
"I was kidnapped and you saved me!"
(Y/N) pretended to think hard.
"Ohhhhhhhh. Yes, I didn't know that was you at the time, but what do you mean by 'fiancée'?"
(Y/N) asks, Naomi just smiles.
"For saving a princess, I believe becoming my fiancée is a great reward."
That's more like a punishment!!
(Y/N) thought in distress.
"I'm sorry, but I cannot become your fiancée."
"What? Why?"
(Y/N) turns toward Angelica and gets on one knee.
"I already have a woman I love, and I intend to marry her, if she'll have me."
(Y/N) shows Angelica the ring with a hopeful smile.
"Yes, I will marry you."
Angelica was on the verge of tears as (Y/N) slid the ring on her finger.
"This is why I cannot marry you, princess Naomi."
Naomi had a heartbroken expression on her face.
"I understand."
Naomi said sadly before walking away, leaving the loving couple alone.
