Third P.O.V
Staring into (Y/N)'s eyes, Connor felt extremely nervous.
"My... Best friend?!"
The words flew from his mouth. (Y/N) blinked.
"Uh, sure!"
(Y/N) said with smile.
"G-Great."
Silence enveloped the two.
"You know what, I think it's about time we head back."
(Y/N) said once they realized Connor wasn't going to say anything else.
"Do you want me to walk you home?"
Connor asks like a gentlemen.
"Sure."
The walk to (Y/N)'s house was quiet, so when Connor dropped them off, (Y/N) decided to lighten up the mood.
"What do you say about meeting up tomorrow?"
"Our usual spot?"
Connor asks hopefully. He could try again tomorrow.
"I'll see you then, best friend!"
(Y/N) then walks into the house. Aria was waiting by the door.
"Where were you?"
The seventeen year old interrogated.
"With Connor."
(Y/N) said simply. Aria's eyes narrow.
"What did you guys do?"
"We talked, played tag, and Connor asked me to be his best friend!"
Aria just stared at (Y/N).
"He asked you, to be his best friend?"
Aria asks cautiously.
"Yeah..?"
Aria burst out laughing.
I can't believe he friendzoned himself!!
Aria wiped tears from her eyes.
"Such a good friend."
(Y/N) decided that their sister is a weirdo.
"Anyway, did you receive a letter?"
(Y/N) questions.
"Mother and father should be back in two weeks."
Aria said off-handedly.
Wow, that must be some vacation. But I guess the more time away from the person who calls me 'Anchovy' the better.
Author's Note: Connor friendzoned himself!... But was that his true intention?
