Chapter Twenty Four - The Battle Of Hosu City

As the Long Limb Mutraddi takes form in Hosu City, the Titan forms a sword and shield. Inside the Titan, Lance and Ilana along with Octus began planning their attack as the Long Limb Mutraddi roars.

Ilana: We can't let that Mutraddi destroy the city!

Octus: We will need to destroy the monster quickly.

Lance: Then we can't waste any time! We have to go all out!

Under Lance's command, the Titan charges at the Long Limb Mutraddi with sword in hand. But as the Titan went for an overhead strike, the Long Limb Mutraddi grabs the Titan and slams him to the ground. The Long Limb Mutraddi then pounces on the Titan and attacks him. Octus then activates one of the Titan's defense mechanisms, which generates a powerful electric shot across the body. Stunned the the shock, the Long Limb Mutraddi staggers back as Ilana generates a shield and bashes it away. Lance then attacks the Long Limb Mutraddi with the sword. 

Ilana: Lance, we need to keep collateral damage to a minimum! Midoriya and the others are down there!

Lance: I'm trying!

As Lance uses the Titan to press the attack, the Long Limb Mutraddi lunges at the Titan and begins attacking the Titan with it's fists. The Titan then grabs the Long Limb Mutraddi and grabs one of it's arms and rips it off. The Long Limb Mutraddi howls in pain as it kicks the Titan away.

Octus: The Mutraddi beast is hurt. 

Lance: This is our chance!

The Titan then launches at the Long Limb Mutraddi and impales it's chest with the sword. The Titan follows through by kicking it off the sword and smacks it with the shield. Weakened but still dangerous, the Long Limb Mutraddi Beast kicks the Titan away and lets out a powerful roar. 

Lance: We have to go for it's limbs! 

The Titan then charges at the Long Limb Mutraddi and aims for it's limbs. The Long Limb Mutraddi was able to defend itself by lunging at the Titan and scratches the Titan. 

Ilana: We're taking heavy damage! 

Ilana then uses the shield to knock the Long Limb Mutraddi off. As the Titan gets back on his feet, the Long Limb Mutraddi jumps into the air. The Titan launches itself into the air and uppercuts the Long Limb Mutraddi. The Titan then grabs the beast and slams it into the ground. As the fight drags on, Octus analyzes the Long Limb Mutraddi for a weakness. It doesn't take Octus long to find one. 

Octus: I have analyzed the creature and pinpointed several weakpoints. 

Ilana: Then let us end this! 

With that, Lance, Ilana and Octus coordinated the Titan's assault on the Long Limb Mutraddi. As the Long Limb Mutraddi attempts to press the attack, the Titan was able to outmaneuver it's attacks. Soon enough, the Titan manages to dismember to Mutraddi. They throw it into the sky and uses a laser built into the arm to blast it into the sky, disintegrating it. As the Long Limb Mutraddi was destroyed, Ilana speaks to Lance and Octus. 

Ilana: We have to regroup with the others before they notice!

Octus: I know an ideal place for us. 

With that, the Titan flies into the air. As all this happened, Shigaraki and Kurogiri watch from the top of a nearby building. 

Shigaraki: It's that giant robot again.....

Kurogiri: Do not worry, Tomura. We will have our chance at retribution. For now, I believe our time here has ended. 

With that, Shigaraki and Kurogiri left the area as the Nomu continue to wreck havoc on Hosu City. At the same time, Ilana and Lance along with Octus regrouped with the others. 

Ilana: Is everyone okay?

Suddenly, Midoriya was snatched by a Flying Nomu. As everyone was about to try and rescue Midoriya, Stain suddenly jumped on the flying Nomu. Stain then stabs the Nomu in the exposed brain with his sword. The Nomu crashes to the ground, but Stain was able to break Midoriya's fall. As Stain got up, Endeavor along with Ilana, Lance, Iida, Todoroki and the other Pro Heroes were shocked by this. 

Ilana: S....Stain?! How did he get free?!

Todoroki: He must've gotten free. Be careful everyone! He's dangerous!

Stain slowly got up. As Midoriya was too stunned to move, Stain turned his head to see Endeavor.

Stain: Endeavor.....

Endeavor: Hero Killer! Your reign of terror ends now! Time to bring you to justice!

As Endeavor and the Heroes were about to attack Stain, they were stopped. They became paralyzed by Stain's malefic aura. Seeing Endeavor enraged him

Stain: You false Hero!

Stain's rage was without words as he got up. All the Sky Knights couldn't move. They were paralyzed with fear. Ilana and Lance were paralyzed with fear as they were overwhelmed by Stain's malefic aura. 

Stain: I'll make this right....

As Stain slowly walked towards them, Octus began analyzing the Hero Killer for a weakness. 

Stain: COME ON! JUST TRY AND STOP ME YOU FAKES! YOU THINK YOU CAN KILL ME?! I WILL NOT DIE BY FRAUDS LIKE YOU! THERE IS ONLY ONE MAN I'LL LET KILL ME! A TRUE HERO! ALL MIGHT IS WORTHY!

Endeavor and the other Heroes were frozen in fear. They were at his mercy. Stain slowly walked up to them with rage and bloodlust in his eyes. But as he got closer, Octus was about to attack. Suddenly, he succumbed to his wounds and passed out. The Heroes were freed from his aura.

Endeavor: I think.....he's out cold.....

Lance: What....what was that?

Ilana: I've never felt such bloodlust before.......

With that, the Hero Killer Stain was defeated. Soon enough, the rest of the Nomu were defeated. The Battle of Hosu City was over. But despite Xeexi's failure to capture Ilana, his probe had captured the footage of the Titan. Such footage would be invaluable to General Modula in his efforts to capture Ilana.
