As Class 1-A were separated, Ilana and Lance managed to stick together. During the chaos, they grouped up with Bakugo, Kirishima and Kaminari.
Kirishima: Ilana! Lance! Boy are we glad to see you!
Ilana: Where are the others?
Kaminari: No idea. Things got pretty crazy when all the other students started ganging up on us. The three of us barely managed to stick together.
Lance: It doesn't matter now. We've got to worry about ourselves.
Suddenly, Bakugo runs off on his own.
Ilana: Bakugo! Wait!
Kaminari: Are you serious right now?! We need to stick together!
Without any time to process this, Ilana and Lance along with Kirishima and Kaminari began chasing after Bakugo. Once they caught up with him, they were confronted by Seiji Shishikura from Shiketsu High who immediately attacks Bakugo. Kirishima pushes Bakugo out of the way. When Seiji activates his Quirk on Kirishima, Kirishima is transformed into a lump of flesh.
Ilana: Kirishima!
Lance: Ilana, stand back!
Seiji: UA High School. I respect the school. I take pride that we are counted as equals. However, you lot continuously act in ways that cause its dignity to decline.
Kaminari: Aw man! This is bad!
Lance: We don't have time for this!
Seiji: This kind of behavior is unbecoming of someone from UA. Just like Bakugo, you are vulgar and lack any sort of dignity.
Bakugo: Hey asshole! Show us with your actions, not your mouth!
With that, Lance and Bakugo attacked Seiji while Ilana and Kaminari covered for them. Seiji uses his Quirk to generate a shield from is flesh while throwing meat projectiles at Lance and Bakugo. As Lance closed in on Seiji, Seiji spoke.
Seiji: While I have my issues with you and Bakugo, I have nothing but respect for UA. It's a shame that riff raff like you are accepted into such a prestigious institution.
This enraged Lance as he pressed the attack on Seiji. Lance couldn't help but see the face of a person from his past. Seiji maintained a strong defense. However, Bakugo unleashes a powerful explosion with his Quirk, weakening Seiji. Despite this, Seiji was unfazed.
Seiji: Earlier, I had a piece of my flesh from under this elevated structure go around. You saw earlier with Kirishima, didn't you? If it touches you, that's the end.
As Bakugo charges at Seiji, Seiji floats a piece of flesh beneath the elevated structure they are fighting on and it makes contact with Bakugo, transforming him into a lump of flesh, but not before using his Explosion Quirk to push Lance out of the way.
As Bakugo was reduced to a lump of flesh, Seiji picks him up.
Seiji: This is a demonstration of power. This test has an unusually low passing rate. Since All Might has retired, and we have reached a turning point, wouldn't it normally be appropriate to increase the number of heroes? Namely, what this implies is that they are weeding out the riffraff. We can surmise that they are starting to be more selective in order to bring the profession of hero to a higher level. I wish to support that, so I am thinning the herd myself.
Kaminari: You're ignoring the test to do that? That's crazy!
Ilana: Do you even hear yourself?! I've heard this kind of talk before! From the Hero Killer!
Seiji: What did you say?!
Ilana: What you're saying is exactly the kind of thing the Hero Killer preached! He believed in survival of the fittest. For someone who claims to believe in the ideals of Heroism, you are so quick to follow the ideals of a man who is far from being a Hero!
Seiji: I will not be insulted like this!
As Seiji charged at Ilana, Ilana rolled out of the way and regrouped with Lance.
Lance: Ilana! What are you doing?! You need to....
Ilana: The only way we can defeat this opponent is if we work together! We'll use our Ultimate Moves in synch!
As Seiji charged at Ilana and Lance, Lance utilized the powers of his Manus armor to launch his attack. He unleashes relentless fast-paced beat down on Seiji and follows through by kicking him in the air.
Lance: Now's my chance!
Lance leaps into the air and follows the falling Seiji. While in the air, Lance provokes his target into attacking him, giving him the chance to counter them and, in turn, kick them higher into the air at increasingly greater speeds. Lance lands the final kick on the Seiji, sending him to the ground. Seeing her opportunity, Ilana charges at Seiji
Ilana: Fear not....for I AM HERE!
Ilana then directs some power into her right hand. When Ilana got close, she readied to land her strike.
Ilana: GALALUNA SMASH!
When Ilana landed the punch, Seiji was sent flying against a wall. Lance was stunned at how Ilana was able to coordinate that attack. Ilana then proceeds to eliminate Seiji. After that, Bakugo and Kirishima reverted back to their regular forms.
Bakugo: About fucking time!
Ilana: Apologies, Bakugo.
Kaminari: That was some quick thinking, Ilana!
Kirishima: Yeah! Good job!
As Kirishima said that, the other lumps of meat that Seiji had around him began to transform back into the other students who were unlucky to cross Seiji's path.
Kaminari: Aw crap!
Ilana: Looks like we've got more people to eliminate.
Lance: This will be easy.
With that, Ilana and Lance along with Bakugo, Kirishima and Kaminari proceeded to fight the other students. Luckily for them, eliminating the other students gave them the points they needed to advance to the next stage of the Provisional License Exams. They then made their way back to the starting area to wait for the remaining spots to be filled.
