Days have passed since All Might's retirement and all of Hero Society is still reeling from it. Faith in Heroes have shaken as a result of All Might's retirement as Villains become more bold in committing crimes. For Ilana, it deeply saddened her as she truly admired All Might. At the same time, Lance and Octus intensified their efforts in watching for Rift Gate Openings. As time passed, all of Class 1-A return to resume their Hero Studies. They were all outside the new Heights Alliance building where the Dorms were in. Aizawa waited outside to inform them of what was happening.
Aizawa: Now, I'll explain briefly about the dorms, but first things first. For now, we will focus on getting the provisional licenses we were planning to have you get during the training camp.
Sato: Oh yeah, they did talk about that!
Mina: So much happened that I forgot about it.
Aizawa: This is important. Listen up. Kirishima. Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Midoriya, Iida, Lance and Newton.
As Aizawa called out their names, all the UA students stepped up before Aizawa. The rest of the students fell silent.
Aizawa: These seven went to go save Bakugo and Ilana that night. Your reactions tell me that you all were at least aware of it. I'm going to set aside a number of issues and say this: If it weren't for All Might's retirement, I would've expelled everyone except Bakugo and Hagakure. Of course the eleven that went, but also the thirteen who knew but didn't stop them betrayed our trust, no matter what the reason. I would be grateful if you could follow the proper procedures and act properly in order to regain that trust.
Aizawa's lecture soured the mood of Class 1-A. It was in that moment that Lance spoke up.
Lance: As if you would have done any better.
Aizawa: Care to repeat that, Lance?
Lance: If it weren't for us, Ilana and Bakugo would be dead! While you and the other so called "Pro Heroes" were doing nothing, those of us that went actually did something about it!
Aizawa: Don't push it, Lance.
Lance: You have no right to lecture us about anything! Ilana and Bakugo got kidnapped because of you! You failed!
As things got heated between Lance and Aizawa, Ilana stepped in.
Ilana: Lance....stop it.....
Lance: I can't, Ilana! I....
Ilana: Mr. Aizawa isn't at fault with what happened. Please....let it go...
As Ilana said this, Lance glared at Aizawa. The two glared at each other for a moment before Aizawa spoke.
Aizawa: For the sake of your classmates, I'm going to let this outburst slide. That is all. Now, we're going inside. Let's have some energy!
With that, all of Class 1-A fell silent. The mood was lightened when Bakugo dragged Kaminari to the gate and make him overuse his Quirk to temporary fry his brain, turning him into a bumbling idiot. This lightened the mood as everyone went into the Dorms. As everyone moved into the Dorms, Mina had an idea.
Mina: How about we have a little contest? Let's explore everyone's Dorm rooms and vote who has the best!
Upon hearing this, everyone was in agreement to that idea. They started with the boy's Dorms. When they reached Lance's room, it had a spartan dojo.
Kirishima: Nice room, Lance! SO manly!
Lance said nothing as they moved on to Octus's room. It was nearly empty.
Kaminari: Really? That's it?
Octus: This room adequately provides all the essential needs for comfortable living.
Everyone was puzzled by Octus's words with the exception of Ilana and Lance who knew that Octus most likely altered his room to monitor Rift Gate openings. After exploring the boy's Dorms, they moved on the girl's Dorms. When they reached Ilana's room, they saw what appeared like a princess's room.
Mina: Whoa! Look at this place! It's like a castle!
Ilana: Thank you!
As many of the students were fawning over Ilana's room, Lance spots Mineta moving towards Ilana's dresser. Without hesitation, he walks up to Mineta and glares at him, scaring him to the point of backing off. After exploring the Dorms, a vote was held for the best room. The votes were heavily in Rikido Sato's favor due to his baking skills. Later on that day, they were approached by Yaoyorozu.
Ilana: Is something wrong, Yaoyorozu?
Yaoyorozu: Tsu wanted us to meet her outside the building. She wanted to talk to us.
Ilana: Tsu was awfully quiet. I've never seen her like this. If she wants to meet up with us, I don't see the problem with it. We'll meet you shortly.
As Yaoyorozu left, Ilana turned to Lance and Octus. After a moment of silence, Ilana spoke.
Ilana: We...we have to tell them.
Lance: Tell them what?
Ilana: The truth.
Lance: Out of the question, Ilana. Revealing ourselves will only put us in danger.
Ilana: They....they have a right to know. We brought the Mutraddi on them! None of this would be happening if it weren't for us!
Lance: I warned you that attending this school like this would draw too much attention to us! We owe them nothing!
Ilana: We owe them everything!
As Ilana said this, there was a moment of silence between Ilana and Lance. After a moment, Lance turned to Octus.
Lance: Octus, talk her out of this!
Octus: As much as I agree with what you are saying, Lance, the decision ultimately falls on Ilana.
Ilana: Look....Tsu and the others are waiting for us. Let's go....
With that, Ilana and Lance along with Octus began making their way outside the Heights Alliance building to speak with Tsuyu and the others about what had transpired that night.
