Faye wanted to puke.

Today was the first day of her senior year and she was absolutely nervous. After being MIA for the whole summer, she would return like nothing had happened at all. She dolled herself up like she would usually have done and perfected her fake smile.

She stared into the full body mirror that stood in the corner of her room, inhaling deeply. Faye had chosen to wear dark blue, pink flower patterned dress paired with a jean jacket and biege colored ankle boots. She tried to look her best so no one would think anything was wrong with her.

Faye turned around and grabbed her bag, ignoring Dana and one of the men she had tore apart on her birthday who sat on her bed. They were going on and on about how Faye was a monster and needed to die. Faye rolled her eyes, hearing the same words all of the human she killed said.

She ignored them and walked out of her room to get downstairs. Faye wanted to leave for school as quickly as possible without running into Damon. After her nightmare and her story of what had happened to her, he knew he would try to keep her home and try to get her better.

But she was fine, Stefan was the one who needed the help.

Faye sped down the stairs, trying to make her way out the house quickly. She was stopped when she was sent plummeting to the ground by her tripping over something. Faye let out a loud groan as her face smacked against the hardwood floor.

She turned her head to see what she had tripped over. Her balked, seeing two dead girls.

"Ew." Faye stood up, dusting herself off as she stared at the dead girls. Had Damon done this? Or was it Stefan?

She frowned when her hybrid hearing picked up the sounds of giggling and loud, horrible pop music. Faye walked towards the sound, ending up in the living room.

"What in the holy hell?" Faye whispered as she stared at the scene in front of her. Sorority girls were scattered across a twister mat, giggling and bending so they could reach the certain colors they needed to. Stefan sat on the couch, spinning the wheel.

"Uh-oh. Alexandra, left hand, please." Stefan says when the spinner lands on left hand red for her. The girl got up and offered Stefan her wrist, which he gladly took and fed from.

"Hey, the two brunettes on the staircase owe me a Persian rug." Damon said as he walked up behind Faye. Stefan finally took notice of the pair and unlatched his mouth from the girl's wrist.

"You mean, they owe us a Persian rug? It's my house, too, brother." Stefan glanced over at Faye and smiled brightly, "Ooh! Faye, would you like a spin?"

Faye shook her head, "No thank you."

"So this is what Klaus had in mind when he compelled you to protect Elena?" Damon asked his younger brother.

Stefan gave him a large grin, "These ladies are helping me be all that I can be."

Faye opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off by the door slamming open. Lacey blurred inside, moving in front of Faye.

"Thank god." Lacey placed her hands on either side of Faye's face, "Are you okay? I was so worried about you!"

Faye scrunched up her face in annoyance, "I'm fine, Lacey. Perfectly okay."

Damon scoffed next to her, knowing she was lying. He knew the story of every time she killed and he knew the girl he had killed last night was following her around.

"What are you doing here?" Faye asked, "Not that I'm not happy to see you, but I was just going to come over later so you could see me."

"You're moving out of the boarding house and in with me." Lacey told her.
