"I missed school."

The look Faye Daniels had received from a seemingly stressed out Caroline Forbes was one of questioning; the exact question being if she were an idiot or not. After being out of school for a few days due to the fact many members of the town were perished in an explosion and it had been around a weekend, everyone was forced to go back to school. The vampires could have decided not to and compelled their absences away, but they had to go as if nothing was wrong and live their lives.

The blonde standing next to the hybrid in the parking lot of Mystic Falls High scoffed, "You're such a nerd."

"Hey, I'm not a nerd!" Faye elbowed her sharply, "I just like normality. With everything always going on in our lives, sometimes I would actually kill to be able to sit down and do a piece of homework."

"I think you've tried that once." Caroline responded, "More than once probably."

"My impulsive actions are not the subject right now." Faye said, beginning to walk towards the school, "The subject is that it's a glorious day, we're at school, and there is no vampy problems in sight. Later, we should all go to the Grill and celebrate the fact we're being normal for a day till past closing. Matt can pull some strings and whatnot-"

Caroline clicked her tongue, cutting the hybrid off, "Yeah, slight problem with your idea there." Faye stopped, pouting already even though she hadn't heard the bad news, "Mom told me there's a curfew. No one's allowed out after ten."

"Really?"

"Yeah." She nodded, "The town's a little freaked out with someone on the loose attempting to assassinate your boyfriend."

"If they heard what it was really about, they'd be running screaming." A small grin grew on both of the girls faces at Faye's words. The strawberry blonde linked her arm with Caroline's and began dragging her towards the school, "But anyways, if there is a curfew, we can just all have one big ass sleepover-"

"Oh hell no."

Faye and Caroline walked into the school together, but were forcibly split apart due to the fact their lockers were at least a yard away from each other. The hybrid went to her own locker and turned the dial to each number of her combination. She attempted to yank the maroon painted door open when she heard the click of the lock, but a hand slamming against the door stopped her from opening it.

Faye turned her gaze towards the blonde holding her locker shut with a tight lipped smile on her face. She hadn't seen Rebekah since being locked in the van together after the council had captured them and she hoped she would stay away. The hybrid was pissed that she had killed Elena and almost Matt Donovan.

"Go away." Faye told her.

"Why are you being rude to me?" Rebekah questioned, "I haven't done anything to you."

Faye narrowed her eyes, "You drove Elena and Matt off a bridge. They're my pack and you hurt them. You're lucky enough I'm not gouging your eyes out."

"Well my own asshole brother saved you over me when the council kidnapped us, so you can call us even." Rebekah cocked her head, having returned the smile she had on before this time with a hint of cockiness added to it. Faye rolled her eyes, and let go of the handle on her locker, deciding the blonde wasn't going to let her open it anytime soon.

The Original finally moved her hand to grab a single paper from the stack that Faye hadn't even noticed she had been holding. She held it out in front of her to Faye who took it. The hybrid examined it, reading the details of an 'anti-curfew' party Rebekah was holding at an address different from the one Faye knew as the Mikaelson home.
