I entered the class and had just awoke;

Pass me, You walked with an elegant grace;

You were draped in a long flowing, black coat;

True beauty, yet I had not seen your face:

That day we met over a bowl of fruit;

A polite gesture: that would be the start,

I learned your name and then chose to be mute;

In two days' time, I acted on my heart:

Made a move, asked when I already knew;

Found a bowl, then you plucked mine from my hand;

You said "you use what I have got for you;"

Oh happy moment, but you had a man:

I saw the start of something, a bright light;

I hoped, yet it became my darkest plight.
