I looked everywhere, no blame to be found;

The grave price for love, which I had to pay,

Paid with my whole heart, yet it is still bound:

My soul may suffer, but do not worry;

When I grieve, work and prayer becomes my life;

Do not fret your mind, do not feel guilty.

Through this trial, I am tempered by strife:

Before all else, I desired your best;

All that I did was not for me, but you

Now that I lack hope, shall I ever rest?

Despite it all, my one-way love reigns true:

Against this tide of depression, I stand;

Lamenting, I shall never hold your hand.
