today there is going to be an assembly.

to "honor" a dead student.

as to why they want to focus so much attention on something so miniscule, i will never know.

but something i do know,,

kellin will not be attending.

i gulp down the rest of the syrupy mixture and earn a sigh from my right.

this guy in my second period loves to be all up in my ass over my "addiction"

yes im aware that drinking lean all day, every day, isnt a normal teen thing to do..

but im not a normal teen.

"why do you even drink that stuff? do you not care about your life?"

i ignore the idiotic questions.

my life is kellin. i give him every once of my being. so yes, i care about my life!

"you can ignore me, but you cant ignore eternal damnation.." he trails off, trying to act disinterested.

this guy. i learned that he is a year younger than me, but takes all honors. he is a man of the faith, to an extreme extent. volunteers at youth shelters and soup kitchens. goes to church three times a week. he tries to push his ideas of what makes you a good person on everyone. recently though, seems hes directed all his attention to me.

i don't care much for religion. i am a Catholic, but not practicing. i dont need it anyway. my faith is kellin.

"hey father alex, who you harassing today?" a tall guy with stubble slings his arm around the now cowering boy.

"you cant call me that... its just alex..." he was blushing all over, trying to conceal his face by looking down.

"oh? should i call you daddy instead?" Jack's face was now barely a few inches away from alex's. the comment caused alex to spring up, and quickly push jack away.

"No No! ALEX IS JUST FINE!!" he snapped.

the teacher shot her head in the direction of the yelling, shushing them.

jack gave me a quizzical look, as to say 'whats got his panties in a bunch?' without really saying it.

i held back a laugh, i dont want these guys thinking im their friend, and looked back down at my work.

"you thought that was funny, didnt you?" jack laughed as he took the seat right next me, across from alex.

both me and the shy church boy were now ignoring him, but he did not care at all.

jack just kept talking and talking. and talking.

i ignored him the rest of class, and into the hallway. but for some reason, he took that as an opportunity to talk more.

"..and then kellin was like 'omg jack is being soo annoying!! help mee!!' then i-"

i stopped in my tracks, "kellin was like what?"

he quirked an eyebrow, but still repeated himself. only this time with confusion lacing his words.

"you know kellin?" he added

"yes. he is my boyfriend." i continued walking.

"woah! no way!? when did this happen?"

"this summer." with that i opened the doors and turned the corner to meet my love.

jack still followed me.

"so thats why he hasnt been around.." he trailed off before hitting my shoulder, "you sly dog!"
