Yallo! Back at it again with another chapter. Sorry if this chapter seems like it took a bit longer to post than my other chapters. If I'm being completely honest, after I wrote the last chapter, I felt a bit burned out and wanted to take a small break. (And play ALOT of Destiny 2 😅) But now I am back, refreshed and ready to continue writing! We'll see how long this burst of motivation and momentum can keep me going. Going to get ready to set up the next Ark with this chapter. Now without further ado, let's get into this one!

Pugga's Destiny News: After 3 years, I finally completed the Garden of Salvation raid and got the Divinity exotic trace rifle!! Also, they buffed solar Titans! We eating the good crayons now😏

Also.....might wanna give a heads up....

LIME WARNING FOR THIS CHAPTER!!! (Just a small one)

-----------------

Y/N was currently at a local food shop picking up something for he and Itsuki to eat. It was a small little shop, nothing too flashy or extravagant, but their meat buns were off the hook. 'Meat buns are what brought us together and kept us together when we were young. I'm sure a little gesture like this would make her day' he thought with a smile.

He knew that she had told him that she wasn't in the mood to go get lunch but he figured bringing HER something to eat would be a mood booster. He even managed to make sure that he got the healthier meat bun options for her, considering he remember that he was told that she was trying to manage her weight.

After paying for his buns, he placed them in the small storage container on the back of his bike and set off for the Pentagon. Itsuki had once again gave him permission to borrow their dad's parking space in the underground parking structure so he wouldn't need to worry about leaving it outside, considering that it looked like there might be a chance of rain.

'Such weird weather... the leaves change color and all of a sudden Mother Nature decides to go on her period...' he thought with a grimace. 'Hopefully it doesn't rain until AFTER I get back home tonight...would suck to have to drive back home in the rain...'

After a few minutes of driving, he eventually made it to his destination. He pulled into the underground parking structure into an empty spot with a large plaque with "Reserved for Dr. Nakano" engraved on it. 'Based on what she told me, it seems like he's the kind of person who doesn't come home very often. And if he ever does, it's probably not for a little bit at a time. You would think that a guy who adopted his wife's daughters out of love would kind of be involved their lives a little bit more...'.

He quickly shook off the thoughts. 'Ugh... frustrating, yes. But their family issues are none of my business...I just need to accept that'. He parked his bike, took the meat buns out of the storage container, and then proceeded up the underground elevator. 'I hope this talk will help ease Stars' mind a bit... nothing would make me happier than to see a genuine smile on her face.'

The elevator dinged to let the young man know that he had finally reached his intended destination. He exited the elevator and slowly made his way to the only door at the end of the hall. He took a deep breath and knocked a couple times. He waited a moment but got no response. He turned the knob out of curiosity and, to his surprise, it opened.

'Well...since she's knows I'm coming, it wouldn't be rude to just walk in, right? Better announce myself though...'

"Hey, Stars? I'm here! I brought you a small surprise!" He said.

No response.

"Stars? You home?"

Still no response.
