Warning: Blood

What am I doing? I should be doing kingly things not lounging around in the desert. It's so boring. Kinda wish I'd gone. The first portal frame was empty but the second still glowed a tiny bit.

"I'm bored," Cherry said.

"I'm hot," Ruby followed up.

"I'm tired," Tiger said.

"I'm, uh, sweaty," Gil finished.

I laughed and said, "Hi Bored, Hot, Tired, and Sweaty. How are you guys?" We started laughing uncontrollably.

"I really am sweaty though," Gil said. I waved my hands and a pile of sand rose up in four pillars and a small roof. I made the sand group together so I wouldn't have to hold it. For finishing touches, I added small seats and a table.

"Shade?" I said, pointing to my creation. They all stared at me with confusion. "We all have powers. There's no denying it. You're wizard, you're flower power, you're fish, and you can turn into llamas."

"Actually it's all animals, not just llamas." Tiger said. Tiger then showed us my going from parrot, to turtle, to wolf, then cow. Cherry gave him a round of applause.

"I wanna show my powers," Cherry said, happily. Cherry pulled out a seed and put it on one of the stone chairs. She raised her hands and grew a large moss cushion. Gil plopped into the now comfy chair.

Ruby waved her hand and said, "Here." On the table stood five glasses of water with lemons and mini umbrella sticks in them. A bamboo straw topped it off. We took ours and raised them to the sky.

"To freedom from parents," Tiger cheered.

"To freedom from parents," we copied. I took a sip. Lemony with hints of orange. I gave Ruby a thumbs up on her drink making skills.

"I'm gonna check on them," Ruby said. She drew a circle in the sand and sat down in the center. Ruby pulled out red concrete powder and crushed it up so it would be more like sand. She spread it in the line she had made for her circle.

"That's not creepy at all," Gil joked.

"Who should I check on?" Ruby asked.

"Try Wilder. He's always getting into trouble." Tiger answered. Ruby closed her eyes shushing all of us. We waited in silence. Ruby wiggled here and there. It look perfectly fine. That is until she started squirming in her circle and shook so violently that she fell down. Ruby shot back up reached out and punched Tiger.

Tiger stumbled backwards as Gil and I pulled Ruby out of her circle of red. Once her head was out she opened her eyes with a wild look in them. Then Ruby looked in horror at Tiger's bloody nose.

"What did I do?" She asked.

"Well, you sort of punched Tiger," I said.

"Sort of?!" Tiger objected. Cherry was pulling out some seeds to grow, presumably to heal Tiger.

"What did you see that made you punch Tiger?" Gil asked.

Ruby took a deep breath and said, "They made it to a place called Lauren Land, right where the Crystal Cliffs are. A girl named Lauren rules it and-"

"Where does Gem rule then?" I asked interrupting her.

"Shush, I'm getting there. My mother rule the Galaxy Empire, which is an empire in the clouds made up of floating islands. Does anyone remember in history class, Xornoth?" We'll nodded so she continued, "Scott is not the king of Rivendell, Xornoth is but Xornoth isn't evil, Scott is. They met Shrub and a beautiful Undergrove then they split up. Dawn and Wilder and Crystal went together but they met evil Scott and evil Scott started attacking them and Crystal used her ice powers so Scott hit Dawn and Dawn started falling from the sky and Wilder preformed a successful spell that switched his body with hers so she would be up in the sky. Crystal caught Dawn and Wilder punched Scott which is probably why I punched Tiger. Then Wilder started flying away and that brings us back to where we are." Ruby finished with satisfaction.

Something bad was going on and I knew I had to step in. "Does anyone have the blocks?" I asked. Cherry raised her hand and handed me some of each. I started building the portal, just like the other ones.

Ruby looked at me. She knew what I wanted to do so she said, "Does anyone want to help our friends? Wymiary!" I blinding flash and another portal was built. I jumped in without hesitation.

Was this really the right choice?
