Warning: Violence and multiple people getting knocked out or fainting.

I don't like the cold. It's well, cold. And windy. And when you're flying the wind can push you from the Undergrove to Mezalia in minutes.

"Sausage?" Gem asked the air. I searched for my dad hoping he wasn't evil like before. But he was. His eyes weren't the red that Xornoth had turned but a light blue, like the sky. And it was scary.

"Hello Gem. Nice of you to wander straight into my storm," evil Dad said.

"Is it just me, or do villains talk slowly and slur the words?" Ares asked, trying to bring up the mood.

"This isn't real magic, this is Scott's gift of nothing. Nothing! NOTHING!" Gem screamed. Ares placed a hand on Gem's arm to calm her down. Tiger shapeshifter into a goose that made Gem smile for some reason but I think he did it so he could fly better.

Sausage screamed and casted some spells. "Die Gem. Die other people."

"FLY! FLY! FLY!" Ares yelled over the wind and into the eye of the storm. I followed Tiger's constant honking which was becoming quite annoying to hear but it let me know where he was. At last I started to see blue sky, well blue sky that wasn't blue ice sky. Clouds of calm were showing themselves.

I looked down to see Lauren Land but instead saw Mythland? The blood sheep roamed freely and in that mix looked to be tamed ravagers? This world was weird. Tiger shapeshifter back into a human and Ares holding Gem came out soon enough.

"What took you so long?" I asked.

Ares pointed to Gem and said, "She cast some spells before we left." I nodded in understanding. Gem looked scared. It was a new look on her and I didn't like it, even if it was a different Gem.

"How about we go around the magical, icy, dangerous, hailstorm?" Tiger suggested, panting his head off. Ares nodded and we followed him around the storm that kept moving to get in our way.

"Should we just go through this? It's taking waaaay to long," I said. None of us wanted to go through but it was the only choice. Gem waved her hand formed a shield around each of us. I tapped into the spell and found that it lasted eight minutes. We soared quickly through the storm and two minutes left. Over Lauren Land and down to the area we had.

"TREE!" Tiger screamed. I looked in front of me and saw a tree branch that was getting much, much larger. I ducked at the last second so it only skimmed by back.

"Thanks," I turned back to Tiger. My shield tapped out. Tiger fainted. I don't know why but he did. Ares and Gem both went down to catch him. Gem did the same spell I did, the body switching spell. She switched when she was right next to Ares and Ares caught Tiger as he fell from a new height.

I watched their perfection before it might have been too late. When I looked it front of myself I saw a cliff face. And my team was distracted with another member.

"WYMIARY!" I screamed. Now you may be thinking why I screamed this but I assure you, I knew what was going to happen. The cliff face exploded in front of me, forging a clear pathway. You see, earlier when I said the magic word it exploded because I lacked the skill but actually, the portal frame was built wrong. And when I was about to crash there was no portal making my explosive spell effective.

Ares soared up to me and gave me a high five. I was proud of myself. I'm not the good wizard, but the creative wizard. Tiger seemed back to himself which was good for him.

"Shape shifting is draining, especially when I'm switching a lot or staying as an animal a lot," he explained. That made sense. We touched down, interrupting a conversation between Gil, Mesa, Coral, someone who looked to be Queen Pearl, three people I didn't know, and my evil dad.

"Gem!" Pearl said, "Ready to kick his butt?" Pearl launched into a fight against my evil dad. She had great skill and movement. For every one of his strikes, she had a parry. Pearl got a few good hits on him, and she was in a dress.

Evil Dad swung his legs around Pearl's, knocking her to the ground but she had a shield ready. And apparently a knife in her sleeve. Literally. In such short sleeves, I wouldn't doubt her having seven knives. She launched the knife into Evil Dad who had to step back to avoid being sliced. Gem chose that moment to bang him on the head, really hard apparently, because he slipped into unconsciousness.

"So what exactly am I supposed to do?" Gem asked.

"Light the portal to another dimension," Ares responded.

"You know, at first I thought this was some really big prank but now," Pearl said.

"We don't lie," I said. But was this true?

Author's note: Word count: 836. This chapter was much easier to write for some reason. Wilder's brain is much easier to understand and btw, I had no idea how to end this so there's your bad ending. Thanks for reading.
