THIRD LETTER
Dear Arty,
Mail day happened. It kind of sucked that I didn't get a reply from you, but I understand if you're just taking your time. I can imagine my letters were a lot to take in. I wish you had replied though, but it's alright. I told Lily you were going to reply to me, stupidly. Got too confident I guess. Everyone was waiting for me to receive something and that was a bit embarrassing. That's on me though. I got carried away with myself and I'm sorry if I was too intense. As I said, I can tone it down.
I can even keep our letters secret if you'd prefer that? I promise I wouldn't tell anyone that you're talking to me. I can understand why you'd want to keep them private, I don't come from a rich important family and if you're expected to keep those kind of friends I know it might be embarrassing to exchange letters with me. I've heard how strict your family can be, it makes sense. I'd never judge you for that. I'm pretty good at keeping a low profile, surprisingly.
I'd rather be kept a secret than not hear from you.
