After lunch we all sat around talking for a few hours. About how nice the weather was, how much the girls missed Alice and how much the boys missed Frank and the letters they had received from them over the past few months.

Eventually my restlessness was noticed by Remus, I so deeply wanted to explore. Whereas everyone else knew every nook and cranny of the cabin and the environment that surrounded it- I was completely new. I was itching to be introduced to the many memories they shared here. To be able to visualise the memories they mentioned.

"I'm gonna show Arty around guys." Remus said standing up from his spot and dusting off his hands on his jeans. Picking up his shoes from the floor behind him and gesturing to me to follow. Which I did.

"Alright, have fun!" All but Peter said.

Remus waited until I raised myself up from my seated position and slipped on my still tied shoes.

"Where are we off to?" I whispered excitedly, linking my arm with his as we began to walk away from the group.

"Just a little tour." Remus laughed at my excitable behaviour.
"We'll go this way first." He unlinked our arms, placing his hands on my shoulders and manually changing our direction.

We wandered further down the big lake, away from the cabin and more towards the woods that surrounded the lake.

"We can either do a lap around the lake, which takes about half an hour or there's a little flower patch just past there." He said pointing to a little wooden fence amongst the trees with a broken gate, hanging off its hinges and reclaimed by ivy.

"What kind of flowers?" I asked.

Remus took this question as a sign to hold my hand and lead me to the flower patch.

We passed the old fence and through a number of trees; sticking to a dried mud, dusty path that nature attempted to take back over with patches of pale green grass. Similar to the path that acted as the main entrance, though narrower.

We approached a beautiful clearing in the woods, where the trees created a clearing in an oval shape. The sun beaming through and amplifying the wonderful colours of wild forest flowers.

"They're usually bigger." Remus seemed a bit disappointed, but I thought the hidden space was wonderfully colourful.

"This is so pretty!" I said walking further into the space and looking around at all of the different kinds of sprouts and petals.

When I turned back around, Remus had planted himself crossed legged on the ground, watching me observe the beauty around me.

"What?" I lightly laughed as he smiled to me, leaning back onto his hands and now stretching out his legs.

"You're prettier, that's all."

I smiled through rolled eyes. Not responding to his compliment that made a small giggle escape my mouth. Which I could tell he enjoyed.

I continued observing all the different types of wild flower as Remus eventually led down with the flowers surrounding him, as he stared up at the blue sky above us.

I went to join him, laying down amongst the colour and staring up into the blue. The trees surrounding us almost creating the perfect frame.

"This place has always been so relaxing." Remus sighed contently.

"I feel like you're able to relax anywhere though." I laughed at him, thinking about how easily he can drift off into sleep wherever he's given the opportunity to; which I was mildly jealous about.

"Doesn't make it any less relaxing." He laughed back. Closing his eyes.

I watched him for only a minute. Taking in the beauty that was his energy, that was only increased with the sunshine gracing his skin and beginning to lighten his hair and the vibrant colours that surrounded his body.
