(Hey guys, can any of you recommend a good enemies to lovers HP fanfic? Preferably marauders and not featuring Harry himself but Golden trio is fine also.)

After the ceremony and signing the marital papers, we both joyfully laughed our way home and spent many hours making gleeful comments about our new relation to eachother.

"Mrs Lupin." Remus opened the front door to me.

"Thank you, Husband." I curtsied before I entered, not being able to contain laughter.

This went on all day until the sky grew dark and we were soon to be expected to attend a New Years party at the Potters.

"Before we go," Remus began as we started changing our clothes.
"The box..." he lingered, referring to the wedding gift I gave him.

"Yeah?" I questioned.

"Does that mean James knew about us getting married today if he helped you with it?" Remus wondered. I imagined he was planning out what he was going to tell his friends.

"No. He thought he was helping with a Christmas gift." I revealed.

Remus nodded and continued rummaging through one of his draws for a pair of casual trousers.

"What made you think of it? The box?" Remus said, looking over his shoulder to me with curiosity.

"It's funny," I began.
"I had no idea you were going to gift me with something as beautiful as a dress that made me feel like Narcissa was with me." I smiled.

Remus smiled as if he knew what was going to be said next.

"But I thought you deserved a part of your friends with you, even if it was your decision to have a private wedding." I shrugged as if it was nothing, though it did require planning.

"I loved it." Remus smiled and went back to rummaging through his clothes.

A silence brewed between us, comfortable but full of thought.

"Have you thought about how we'll tell them?" I asked out loud. Knowing he had been thinking about it over the past forty minutes or so.

"There's three options. We wait until after the party. We tell before midnight or as midnight comes through. What do you think?" He asked.

"How well received do you think the news will be?" I checked.

"Well, Alice and Frank didn't invite any of us to their wedding. They got married abroad, remember? We all celebrated for them." Remus reminded me. Which was true, we all were thrilled for the couple and their news.

"Midnight could be a fun reveal!" I smirked.
"The fireworks, the appreciation and desire for all things new. That could work!"

Remus nodded and agreed. Shaking my hand in a way that solidified our plan.

*The Party*

"Come in! Come in!" James shouted at us as we walked up their front door, ushering us in from the chilled frozen air around us.

We rushed inside to match his enthusiasm and were greeted by two flutes of sparkling drink to begin the celebration of the night.

Remus wandered into the kitchen with the desert tray we had brought over to contribute, and I lingered around James.

"So?" He whispered excitedly.

"So what?" I looked at him wide eyed. How would he have found out?

"The gift? You never told me if my dear boy Moons appreciated it?" James asked and I almost sighed with relief.
