"Hero"

The word always gives people a sense of hope when they hear it. But, I want to explain something.

Kagari: No one in this world is born to become a hero

Kagari: No one in this world is born to become a hero. The path of the hero is a path that you must choose to follow yourself.

Whenever someone says "It's my destiny to be a hero" or "I was born a hero" it can be taken with a grain of salt. When someone says that, they don't mean it, when the word destiny is said as another meaning for a goal or an objective.

Anybody who comes into this world with power has their own choices to make. They could use it to save people, kill, or they could do nothing with it and live a normal life. Having powers in this world doesn't make you any different from the people you see everyday.

The path of the hero can also be hell.

Think about it, in any TV show, cartoon, or anime, they have a character who has been forced to become a hero, even if they never wanted the title. It was forced upon them. The powers of the hero can be taken into question.

They could be invincible, immortal, hell, they could have the power to destroy planets.

Excluding characters from animes like DBZ, Naruto, Marvel, and DC there are some questions like....

Did they want the power?

How does the title of hero impact them?

What says that they'll use it for good..?

How will this effect them emotionally?

No one is born with the "I must save the world" mentality. Nobody is given the obligation to be a hero, that is a choice that must be made on their own. You can do heroic things but that doesn't mean that you have to consider yourself a hero.

Take Luffy for example, he's saved people and liberated entire islands but he considers himself a pirate rather than a hero

Also, Goku has saved the earth, multiple planets, and the entire universe. But, he considers himself a warrior and not a hero.

Pirates and Warriors are their own separate titles for people. Bad people can still be considered warriors, but they are also called titles revolving around Monsters and Demons.

But back to being a hero, you don't need to consider yourself a hero because of some good deeds and your power has no part of what you want to be. You can make your power part of your goals and ambitions but just because you have some special ability, doesn't mean you have to risk your life for anyone or dedicate it for anything.

If that wasn't the case, we'd see superheroes everyday like we were in the DC movies. Shazam is the only DC movie I like.

Another thing: Goals and Resolve

Nobody has the power to save the world and the "Use Power For Justice" concept is useless to me and im going to tell you why....

It's not enough to do just within your power. You got to want to do something so badly that you're willing to gain the power to do it. But people who act like they're destined to be the hero don't have that kind of resolve.

It's the reason why they're the heroes destined to lose.

You need to have a goal. The "I need to be a hero to do what's right" sentence is dead, that doesn't require any type of resolve and it has no substance for a goal.

My goal is this....

"The only reason I want power is to make sure that the people I care about can continue living their lives peacefully, and I want to make sure that I can live my life the way that I want with my powers. I want no one to suffer the way I did when I was powerless, so I want power.

I don't have any other reason for doing what I do other than that. If I see someone in trouble, I'll help but that's all, I'm not destined to save the world, no one is.

We're just people with our own powers and our own goals, that is all.
