Annica's POV

"Hi babe!"

I looked up and i saw the sweetest smile in the world.

"I bought your favotite drink" nakangiti nyang sabi habang tinataas yung dala nyang plastic na may lamang inumin

"Aww, Thank you" i said smiling as she slowly walks in

"Here" nakangiting sabi nito habang nilalapag yung inumin sa table ko "Still working on the project?"

"Yeah. I need to finish it as soon as posible. The client wants it by the end of the month" i said while looking at the plate im working.

Isang linggo pa lang bago ma submit sakin tong project pero minamadali na ng client. They want me to design a Residential Building and finish it by the end of the month. Im always focus on my work but this one is hard for me. Ilang araw na akong walang masyadong tulog dahil sa project na to. Habol na habol ako sa oras.

"Don't stress yourself too much. Losen up a bit. Lagi ka nalang subsob sa trabaho"

"I can't. I need to finish this" i said and let out a heavy sigh. Actually this one is stressing me. Di ko naman matanggihan ang project na to dahil yung mismong CEO ang nag recommend sakin para gawin tong project

"C'mon, chill out" sabi nito matapos guluhin ang buhok ko "Let's go out tonight. Nag aaya sila Hazel mag bar mamaya"

"I'll pass--"

"You can't. Birthday nya baka nakakalimutan mo" naka salubong ang mga kilay nito na nakatingin sakin

"Oh shoot--"

"See? I cant believe you forgot my girlfriend's birthday oh my god!" she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms

How can i forget her birthday. Ganun na ba ako ka busy sa trabaho? I never missed a single year except ngayon.

I mentally slap my head. Patay ako.

I bit my lower lip and slowly look at her. Nakasimangot itong nakatingin sakin

Pilit tawa akong tumayo at hinawakan sya sa braso.

"Sorry na. I'll go with you, hmm?" malambing kong sabi sa kanya habang hawak hawak sya sa braso

Ayaw nya pa akong pansinin at inirapan pa ko. Napaka tampuhin kahit kelan.

"I'll leave work early, i promise" sabi ko pa kasi ayaw nya talaga akong pansinin

"Babe please wag ka na magalit" i said in my baby voice and there she gave up

Isang kurot sa pisnge ang nakuha ko sa kanya
