Foxete's POV:

I walk into the med-bay after knocking. Okay, if Illoha is in here you'll ask her where the kids are and leave. You're the captain, you're in charge. Thankfully, Malra opened the door, not Illoha.
"Uh, Illoha isn't in here right now." Mal raised their eyebrows.
"I'm not here for her, do you know where Melenee and Zeon are?" I ask.
"Yeah, I gave them a room at the end of the barrack hall, they should be there." They nod.
"Alright, thanks Mal." I nod and walk towards the barracks.
I honestly forgot about those kids. If it weren't for Jake bringing them up in a conversation last night at dinner, I wouldn't have ever remembered to talk to them. Speaking of dinner, Illoha didn't show up. That whole situation is so confusing. I can't tell if I was wrong or not to not forgive her. I mean, she needs to understand that I won't just forgive her when she wants me to, right? I love her, don't get me wrong, but I can't let her yell at me for doing nothing wrong. I sigh and look at the last door in the hallway.
What am I even supposed to say? "Hello there! I know we haven't talked since you saved my life and stuff, but what's your thoughts on the crew? Any plans to stay? Want us to drop you anywhere? Your choice!" Gods I'm horrible at this "captaining" stuff.
I knock on the door and Melenee opens it, "Yes?" She asks.
"Uh, hi." I smile completely forgetting why I knocked on her door.
"Hi?" She asks confused.
"So... uh, how's the crew been treating you?" I ask.
"Fine I guess." She shrugs, "We haven't been interacting with them much. Only really Mal and Icey."
Oh crap, Icey! I forgot about her as well.
"Huh, well, do you have any idea if you want to stay with the crew or get dropped off?" I ask.
"Get dropped off where?" She scoffs, "We don't know what year it is much less other planets."
Okay, no need for the sass.
"Just a suggestion." I raise my hands in defense, "So you're both fine here?"
"Yeah, is that all?" She asks irritably.
"I guess so." I smile, "If you need anything-"
"Right, cool thanks." She cuts me off and closes the door.
"Just ask..." I stare at the door. Cool.
I turn and walk back down the hallway. I see Illoha to the right, and as much as I want to talk to her, I turn left. If she wants to talk to me, she'll talk to me. It's been 3 days.
I just hope she cares enough to apologize.
