"Ari. Ari wake up." My hair was scooped from my face and I groaned.

"Ariella." He whispered and I looked at him.

"What." I mumbled.

"We have a busy day. It's Saturday and I have things planned. Get up angel, don't shower wait till we get back and be downstairs in 45. If you need me let me know. Come on. Get up." He pulled at my arms and I laughed.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes.

He handed me a bottled water and I smiled.

"Thanks. I'll be down." I nodded and he left.

I stood, stretching and checking my face in the bathroom.

It's been about a week since all this and it was healing really well.

I sipped the water, the coolness refreshing.

I brushed my teeth, washing my face and my phone began vibrating.

I answered it, putting it on speaker.

"Yeah?"

"Do you have water proof makeup?" He asked.

"Why?" I said, wary.

"Don't ask questions woman just answer me."

"I do."

"Put that on." He told me and hung up.

I put on my moisturizer and primer, putting the waterproof stuff on and setting it with setting spray.

I put Vaseline on my eyelashes instead of mascara and moved to my closet after putting my hair in a loose bun.

I moved downstairs and he came in from outside, a giant grin on his face

I moved downstairs and he came in from outside, a giant grin on his face.

"Okay, today you're trying a glazed donut, only half because I have something else but sit." He motioned to the chair and I sat.

He put half of a glazed donut in front of me with a chocolate milk.

"Can I fix your hair?" He asked.

"You know how to?" I asked.

"I do." He nodded.

"Alright." I took a bite.

It was so good.

"This is really good." I said as he began doing my hair.

I didn't know what he was doing but I had a feeling it was some type of braid.

"Alright. Ready to go? You can bring your milk." He told me as I handed him the rest of the donut.

He shoved it into his mouth and I laughed.

"I'm ready." I grabbed the chocolate milk with me and put my shoes on.

-

"A picnic?" I smiled.
