NEW FRIENDS

Its been a few months since he'd been invited to Hogwarts and he's was studying very intently. He had about a month to prepare before he goes there.

And now you can see Y/n waiting inside the tree house examining his pocket watch until he heard a rustling sound outside.
It had stopped snowing though he could still feel the cold air. It was a silent night besides the breathing breeze.
Y/n walked up to the window and peaked outside. He could have sworn he saw a truffle of yellow beneath the shadows.
He climbed down the ladder to take a closer look and to his surprise a familiar blue eyed idiot had emerged from the bushes covered in mud with a few leaves and a twig sticking out of his hair.
Lucas had been visiting for the past months.
I'd say the two boys had gotten closer.
Lucas took notice of Y/n who stared at him muddled.

"Oh! Hello Y/n!" Lucas grinned at the brunette.

"Hello again." Y/n said walking up to Lucas removing the twig that stuck out his hair smiling warmly.

"Y/n! You wouldn't guess what I've found out!"
Lucas said shoving a rock to Y/n's face.

"Its a rock!" Lucas beamed as if it were a dog.

"lovely." Y/n sarcastically before leading Lucas into the tree house.

"Hey! Greg's special you know!" Lucas said protectively hiding the rock behind his back when Y/n took a step closer.

"And how exactly is that-"

"His names Greg." Lucas cut off sternly making Y/n roll his eyes with a smile.

"How exactly is Greg special?" Y/n continued sitting cross legged at the floor while Lucas took seat in front of him.

"Well I have the suspicion that Greg's an egg!" he said whispering as if the two were to get arrested if anyone else had heard.

"...what?" Y/n said getting more and more bewildered the longer he stayed in Lucas' presence.

"Its an egg! I swear!" Lucas said taking a handful of twigs from his pocket, laying it on the floor beside the two and started joining them together.

"Come on help me make a nest!" He said still whisper-shouting.

"You never cease to amaze me Wilgreen."
Y/n muttered before helping him make a nest for the so called egg.

Y/n needed a distraction from everything that's been happening. He was stressed since he's having a hard time controlling his wand. Sometimes it would shoot a charn even if he didn't mean to or it shoot a completely different charm than what he'd expected. He was annoyed and Lucas seems to appear at the right exact time and quite frankly Y/n considers Lucas as his comfort person.

Y/n and Lucas we're sitting crossed legged on the floor of the tree house making a nest as
Y/n contemplated his life choices.

There were a few twigs left when Lucas questioned:

"you've been looking horribly these couple weeks Y/n. what's wrong?"

"and you notice this now?" Y/n said amused when Lucas gave an offended reaction.

"Hey! Im just trying to be a good friend! Honestly a man tries to be nice and all he gets is a stupid remark." Lucas grumpily crossed his arms.
