'NO!' I sat up, my heart pounding. Glancing around I realised that I was in the hospital wing with--

'Harry?'

'(Y/n)?'

Wait... Where is Quirrell? Where am I?

'He's been taken care off.' Grinned Harry.

'Pardon?' I must've said that out loud. Nevertheless, I here, alive. They must have noticed. 'You alright Harry?'

'Yeah, mate, and it wasn't just me, there was Hermione and Ron too.'

'Are they alright?' Ron, I get the feeling that he's soemhow--

'They're fine, Ron is too, don't worry.' I gave a sigh of relief. 'Though he was hit in the chess part.'

'Bloody hell.'

There was a moment of silence before Harry spoke up again.

'So, why we're you there with Quirrell?'

'He told me to, Harry.' I grimaced. 'The deal, remember? It was an unbreakable vow, but now he's dead, we're fine thanks to you.'

Harry flushed a tad bit, and rubbed the back of his head. He suddenly grinned excitedly, rising up a strange looking book he held. Stumbling towards my bed and showing me a few photos of his family. 'Look! That's my mum--' he pointed to another person. 'And my dad!' I've never seen him so happy. 'I have parents!'

'Yes Harry,' I rolled my eyes, yet I felt my lips tug into a smile. 'You have parents.'

Harry thought for a moment.

'Hey,' He whispered, glancing back at Madame Pomfrey. 'Do you want to go to the Great Hall with me?'

'Why are we whispering?'

'Nothing, just answer.'

'Yeah, sure.'

Harry gave a cheeky smile before turning to Madame Pomfrey. She gave a sceptical look before sighing, waving her hand as a sign to let us go.

I and Harry made our way to the feast. Madame Pomfrey insisted on giving us one last check up, it was troublesome, I'll tell you that. the Great Hall was already full. It was decked out in the Slytherin colours of green and silver to celebrate Slytherin’s winning the House Cup for the seventh year in a row. A huge banner showing the Slytherin serpent covered the wall behind the High Table.

When Harry walked in there was a sudden hush and then everybody started talking loudly at once. He slipped into a seat between Ron and Hermione, and I sat in front of the three at the Gryffindor table and tried to ignore the fact that people were standing up to look at Harry. Such creeps.

Oh, how I wanted to say

'I'm here too, you know.'

Fortunately, Dumbledore arrived moments later. The babble died away.

‘Another year gone!’ Dumbledore said cheerfully. ‘And I must trouble you with an old man’s wheez-ing waffle before we sink our teeth into our delicious feast. What a year it has been! Hopefully your heads are all a little fuller than they were … you have the whole summer ahead to get them nice and empty before next year starts … Now, as I understand it, the House Cup here needs awarding and the points stand thus: in fourth place, Gryffindor, with three hundred and twelve points; in third, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and fifty-two; Ravenclaw have four hundred and twenty-six and Slytherin, four hundred and seventy-two.’

A storm of cheering and stamping broke out from the Slytherin table. Draco Malfoy banging his goblet on the table loudly. It was a sickening sight.

‘Yes, yes, well done, Slytherin,’ said Dumbledore. ‘However, recent events must be taken into ac-count.’ The room went very still. The Slytherins’ smiles faded a little.
