Chapter 21

"I got ran over by a truck, and like a big shards of glass cut me all up" you said dramaticly playing it out.

They all stared horrified as midoriya frowned in confusion.

"Im kidding, hehe"
Some breathed out in relief while others just turned away leaving you to your privacy again.

You finished changing and walked along with midoriya to the field where we were going to meet.

You ignored aizawa's instructions to the task as you felt the warm sun on your skin. The activities were relatively easy as you had already seen what it would include.

You walked up to Momo as you saw bakugou getting ready for the ball throw test.

"Hey"

She immediately stopped paying attention to the spiky blonde haired boy and turned to you.

"Y/n! Im glad to see you here, and I apologize for not saying hello to you earlier- I just felt like it wasnt time for it and-"

"Yaoyorozu, its fine. Besides, youre starting to sound like midoriya if you start rambling on like that."

"Oh right, sorry" she gave a small awkward chuckle while you just smiled in return.

"But hey, didnt I tell u that you would pass? Guess I was right."

She was about answer but stopped as aizawa made another announcement.

"whoever comes in last place will be expelled "

You could see shock spread through the faces of your class while Momo looked unfazed beside you. She noticed you had the same reaction as her from the comment and smiled to herself before the activities took place.

The others struggled their hardest to get a good score in fear of getting expelled while you were careful to the amount of points you gained.
You didnt want to stand out but didnt want to seem weak either, average would be the best score in your eyes.

You mostly accompanied kirishima, momo and midoriya through the test while wondering how hagakure managed to get a higher score than Midoriya. You observed her until the tests were over becoming slightly disapointed in the lack of info you gained from it.

You watched midoriya's soul leave his body as the results were showed, his name last on the list. But you were amused to see the even more shocked look on his face as Aizawa revealed that the expulsion part was a lie all along.

Momo looked almost disapointed at the shocked reactions if the class.
"Of course it was a lie. It should've have been obvious if you just thought it through."

A small smirk appeared on your face as the class stared at her realizing none of them noticed it as she did.

"You knew too, didnt you?" She asked standing beside you.

You just smiled and answered a simple yes.
Ignoring the fact that Aizawa's whole earlier class was fakely expelled as you didnt want to hurt her confidence.

The class ended and lunch time came along.
You stood in the cafeteria with your tray of food as Arson waved to you from the other side of the room, motioning you to join him as he had gotten a nice place to sit for the break.

You approached him but stopped in wonder as you noticed a lilac haired boy sitting together with him from across the table. You smiled as you recognized him as Shinsou, the general course student who failed to pass the hero course exam.

"See! I found a pretty nice place right?"
Arson said as you seated yourself next to him.

"Yeah, rest of the cafeteria was pretty full."
You answered as shinsou awkwardly ate his food. You reached forward your hand for a handshake and smiled to him.
"I'm Y/n, nice to meet you"

He accepted the handshake and introduced himself while scratching the back of his head.
"So youre the one Arson was talking about"
He said as you awkwardly laughed and you looked towards Arson, staring at him as he avoided your gaze and slowly drank his water.

"I hope they were all good things" you said turning back to shinsou.

"I also heard you got into the hero course"
The air suddenly got heavy and the friendly atmosphere disappeared as he stared at you with his tared gaze.

"Yeah, I was lucky"

He raised an eyebrow to your response, telling you to continue.

"I was 'blessed' with a good quirk, and most of my life was then planned out for me." You said starting to eat your food.
This peaked Arson's curiosity as well. Ever since the recomendation exam, he had wondered what your quirk was.

Shinsou smirked.
"Easy life huh, must have been nice being treated like a hero your whole life. I must say, im kinda jealous."

The friendly smile you had on faded away.
"Dont be."
