Gurgles of content filled the room as Zed played with baby Brayden who was currently in his lap. The infant stared curiously at Zed who was currently making funny faces at him.

"Who's a silly Zombie? I'm a silly Zombie." Zed cooed, sticking out his tongue and causing Brayden to squeal.

"He likes you." Bree smiled.

"Babies always love me." Zed bragged, making another face at the baby.

Addison chuckled. "He met a little boy at his physical therapy appointment who was a fan of his. Since then, Zed's spirits have really been boosted."

"Ag zet et ka getzi (It's good to see him happy)." Bonzo grinned.

Bree rested her head against Bonzo's shoulder. "It really is."

Addison shifted positions in her chair, attempting to get comfortable. "So how have you two been making out with the baby so far?"

Bree glanced up at Bonzo then back to her best friend. "Its been an adjustment. The feedings every couple hours and the lack of sleep has been the hardest thing, but we've been pushing through."

As if on cue, Bonzo yawned loudly before resting his forehead against the top of Bree's head. Bree turned and kissed his cheek, causing a smile to spread on his face.

Addison smiled at her two friends. They were both so happy and in love, just like her and Zed. Bree and Bonzo had done so much for her while Zed was in the hospital. It was time she returned the favor.

"Why don't you and Bonzo take a nap?" Addison suggested. "The spare bedroom is free and Zed and I can watch Brayden for a bit. You guys can even stay for dinner."

"Are you sure Addy?" Bree asked, glancing at Bonzo. "We don't want to wear you guys out."

"Bree it's more than okay." Addison reassured her. "It will be good practice for when Kenzie arrives."

Bonzo looked to Zed. "Zedka, ag gehzen za (Zed, is it okay with you)?"

Zed nodded. "Of course. Go get some rest. We can handle this little man for a couple hours."

Bree got up and hugged them both, Bonzo doing the same. "Thank you both so much."

"Of course." Addison smiled.

Bree placed Brayden's baby bag on the table. "This had everything you'll need and there's a couple bottles in your fridge that I stuck in there when we arrived. He's due for a feeding in an hour and he only takes one bottle. Oh, and make sure it's not too hot after you warm it up."

Zed chuckled. "Don't worry Bree, we got this. Go get some sleep. Both of you."

Bonzo nodded and took Bree's hand. He guided her up the stairs, leaving Addison and Zed alone.

"Well little man," Addison smiled down at Brayden. "What should we do with you first?"

Zed wrinkled his nose in disgust. "Well I think I know what we need to do. Someone just dropped a major stink bomb."

Addison chuckled. "I'll grab the diapers and wipes."

Addison started rummaging through the diaper bag as Zed glanced around. With the exception of their dining room table, there wasn't really anywhere that he could wheel his chair up close enough to lay Brayden down and change him.

Zed cradled Brayden in one arm and grabbed the arm of the couch with the other. Carefully, Zed slid out of his chair and landed with a 'plop' on the living room floor.

Addison turned upon hearing the sound and stared at him with wide eyes. "Zed are you okay?"

Zed laughed, turning himself so his back was against the couch. "I'm fine Addy, I did this on purpose. I can't reach in my chair so I'm going to change him on the floor. Theres a pad or something to lay him on in there, right?"

Addison nodded, grabbing it from the bag. "Yeah, I got it. But you should have waited and let me hold Brayden while you did that. What if you fell?"

"I wouldn't have done it if I thought I couldn't do it safely." Zed promised. "Let's just get this done."

Addison laid the changing pad on the floor between Zed's legs. Zed laid Brayden down gently and got to work. He carefully unsnapped his onesie, pulling it back before opening the diaper.

Zed gagged as he lifted Brayden's tiny legs and slipped the dirty diaper out from under him. "Little man, that is some nasty stuff."

Addison laughed as she placed the dirty diaper in a plastic bag before handing Zed some wipes. "Our little one probably won't have diapers that smell much better."

Zed tossed the dirty wipes into the bag and took the clean diaper from Addison. "In that case, remind me to see if Z-Tech has a hazmat suit I can borrow."

Addison smacked his arm playfully. "Drama king."

Zed rolled his eyes as he held up a newly changed Brayden. "Look at that. Good as new. See? Uncle Zed has got this in the bag."

Addison kissed Zed's cheek as she got up to dispose of the dirty diaper. Zed bounced Brayden in his arms as he gurgled contently.

Addison returned and held out her arms. "Want me to take him so you can get up?"

"Yes please." Zed nodded, handing over the baby.

Zed grabbed onto the couch and pushed himself up and onto the seat. Once he was settled, Addison sat beside him. Zed draped his arm around her shoulders and watched her play with Brayden.

"You're going to be a great mommy." Zed whispered in her ear.

Addison smiled. "And you will be a wonderful daddy."

Brayden gave a small yawn, curling up against Addison's chest, his little eyes growing heavy.

"Looks like someone else needs a nap." Zed chuckled.

Addison bounced Brayden gently in her arms as Zed turned the tv on low.

Time skip brought to you by the Cheer Spirits, glory to all that is firecracker firecracker shish boom bah

Zed and Addison were watching tv quietly when they were startled by a loud wail. Addison looked down and saw Brayden had woken up.

"Shhhh." Addison whispered, laying him against her shoulder and patting his back. "Its okay. You're okay."

"He's probably hungry." Zed replied. "Its close to when Bree said he needed to be fed."

Addison nodded. "Okay. Why don't you hold him and I'll go warm up the bottle."

Zed held out his arms and she handed him Brayden before heading to the kitchen. Zed bounced Brayden gently and patted his back as he waited for Addison to return.

A few minutes later Addison returned and handed him a bottle. "Here we are."

"Perfect." Zed smiled, adjusting Brayden in his arms and taking the bottle. "Here you go little man."

Brayden took the bottle immediately, sucking hungrily. The two of them smiled down at the newborn. They couldn't get enough of these little moments.

"I'm going to start dinner." Addison whispered.

Zed nodded. "Okay. I'll let you know when Brayden gets done."

Addison smiled, before heading into the kitchen. Zed could hear her rummaging around as she worked and he chuckled. He was sure Addison had something big planned for all of them.

Zed then turned his attention back to Brayden. The infant suckled hungrily on his bottle, content for the time being. He still couldn't believe that this was his godson. Bonzo and Bree's announcement had been such an unexpected yet wonderful surprise. He was honored that they had chosen him and Addison.

A loud crash echoed through the house and Zed's attention was immediately drawn to it. "Addison? You okay in there?"

His question was met with silence and concern began to creep in. "Addison! What's going on? Addy!?"

"Zed." Addison's voice called out meekly. She appeared in the doorway, clutching it tightly.

"Addison what happened? Are you okay?" Zed asked, noticing how shaken she looked.

"My water broke."
