After that kerfuffle, you and Heizou finally made your way to the docks in Ritou. It took a while, since Heizou kept begging for you to buy Dango for the trip.

You have a wide smile, with a matching wave to Beidou. 'Thank you so much for taking us' You kept thanking her. 'It perfectly fine, now i have a place for you two to stay if you get tired. Ill get Kazuha to show you around.' She replied. A white-haired boy waltzed up to the two of you, before his eyes widened at the sight of Heizou. 'Hey..don't i know you?' Heizou said, his eyes narrowing. 'Nope. No you don't. Come on, i'll show you your room.' The boy, who you gathered his name was Kazuha, commanded. Heizou glanced at you. 'If it's to do with a case, can you please leave it? They're literally taking us across the ocean to get us here.' You patted his shoulder and he rolled his eyes. 'Alright, for you~' Heizou sang.

You wandered after the fast-paced Kazuha as he showed you to your room. 'And uh..you..your rooms here' The boy pointed to Heizou and showed him a room across the hall.

After unpacking, you heard a rhythmic knock at the door. 'Come in!' Heizou opened the door and walked into your room. 'I'm bored.' He sighed. You rolled your eyes at him, like always.

'Come on, let's go check up on Beidou.' You took his hand and pulled him through the halls. It felt so programmed, natural,normal. What were you guys? After yesterday, you only grew closer but..nothing was confirmed. You weren't dating, were you?

Seeing Beidou talking to another crew member. As if on command, she turned and opened her arms, exaggerating her welcome. You thanked her again and nudged Heizou's side, making him say a thank you. 'How long do you think this will take?' Heizou asked impatiently. 'If we are lucky, only around three more hours. That's if the storm doesn't follow us.' She answered. You sighed, it wasn't long but you were itching to get to Liyue again.

The winds blew harder, and the sky became a deep purple. Checking the time on a pocket watch, You realised it was nearing 10pm. 'I'm getting pretty tired, i'm gonna head back to the room, alright?' You said to both Beidou and Heizou. 'Oh, i'll walk you back!' Heizou smiled at you. You smiled back and he began to walk to your room.

Once out of eyesight and earshot, Beidou took out a small notebook and jotted something down. 'Oh, Yae will love this.' She whispered to herself.

You invited Heizou back to your room for a bit. He obviously accepted. He was practically smitten by you. Sitting down on the bed, Heizou lay down on your left side.

'Can i ask something?' You started. He sat up and looked at you. 'I mean sure, last time you did it had a pretty good ending~' Heizou replied, making you blush like mad. 'Oh my god...shut up~' You sang, putting your head in your hands. 'Okay okay, i'll stop. What's up?' He poked your arms all over.
'Alright..so i was like wondering, are we..a thing?' You blurted out.
'A thing?'
'A thing.'
'Ohhh, like a thing thing?'
'YES'

God this was excruciating.

'If you want to be a couple you could have said~' He carried on poking you.
'well..i was just like..wondering...if you thought we were..which wouldn't be bad..oh no i made it sound bad..' You were starting to freak out from embarrassment. Heizou just laughed and took your hands before you could hide your face. 'Of course i would, if your not ready then i'll wait. i always will.' He ruffled your hair and brought you in for a tight hug.

You felt safe in his arms, as you always did. And his words comforted you even more. You wanted to be ready, you really really did, but the words didn't come out.

The two of you just stayed like that for a while. And it wasn't long until you managed to drift off in his arms.

'Y/n? Wake up..we're here..' A soft voice whispered in your ear.
