Riley Hopper's life wasn't exactly 'normal' to begin with. The cancer diagnosis, eventually leading to the tragic death of her little sister had torn her family apart and had left a hole in both her and her parents' hearts. Her parents got divorced...
So I mentioned before having an Eddie Munson fanfiction that kind of serves as a prequel type situation, and the first few chapters have been posted! Its going to take place during the same time frame as seasons 1-3 of Stranger Things, so the events of that book are going to be taking place at the same time as this one, with Riley and Steve's plot points as well as some extra brand-new content with them appearing throughout the story.
My plan at this point is to create a new OC for Eddie who will appear in this story in Season 5, so It'd be really cool if you could go check out that story as well so you can have the full context when the two stories collide! I've been having a really great time so far fitting this storyline into the background of my new one, so I hope that you guys will enjoy that too!
I also have some bonus chapters I want to post, but I've actually entered this story into the Watty's this year, just for fun and out of curiosity, so I don't know if I'm allowed to expand the story further at this time. I might make a separate book containing those bonus chapters, or potentially publish them in the Eddie book, but either way those will probably be coming soon so keep an eye out for those.
