OCTOBER 1984, it had been almost a year, since everything and serena still hadnt fully recovered.

serena's life was good though, she had a new boyfriend, who she thinks she loves.

she had her friends, her cheer team, it was her senior year and she was having a great time.

shes was being a better sister, she even played dnd with her brother, and his dumb friends a couple times, and made sure to spend time with her little sister holly too

even repaired her relationship with her other sister nancy.

serena arrived at hawkins high in the backseat of steves harringtons car. her license had been taken away by the court till further notice. she knew drunk driving was stupid but for some dumb reason when your drunk or high you dont really think about that.

"ew i dont need to see my little sister making out with her boyfriend at 7am." serena complained, from the back seat

and billy gave everything she wanted but love is a million things and everything costs something, billy was violence, he would offen yell at her if she didnt do what he wanted, he was controlling but serena labeled it as protecting her and that feeling made her feel comforted

last fall she was addicted to drugs this fall she's addicted to love and feeling loved, loved by a boy a man, she didnt care if he would slap her or yell at her so just wanted him to love her
