I see nothing.
"-failed is what she has..."
I feel nothing.
"No-..successful lesson-"
I smell nothing.
"-more to go.."
I can hear.
"-will have a lot to do."
Bad. But it gets better..
"-recovery. Send someone to support her."
Finally. A full sentence.

I suddenly get a taste of bitter blood in my mouth.
I scowl.
"It's time."
I take a few moments to come fully back to my senses.
In the corner of my eye a shadow disappears.

While refusing to let the aches in my body take over, I stand up and make my way to the kitchen.

With the fridge open, I stare for a while.
A deep sigh leaves my lungs.
I head out in the garden.
It's warm outside, despite the soft rain that lands on my skin.
I close my eyes.
My thoughts flow around like clouds. My body is half asleep. My mind is wide awake.
Time and space become relative and I wander through my conscious.
A wind chimes past my cheeks to my ears and blows further into my long hair.

A patch of pleasant warmth on my head is what makes me look up, only to see the golden sunset rushing in.
Its rays pass through a cloud, giving it a tint of colourful rainbow.
"So far, so long.", I whisper.
