I did as Christian said. My room was closer to the main elevators. He pressed the down button. "I thought all the wedding people were on this floor."

"All the important ones. Direct family, best man, and of course, maid of honor." He explained, tapping his foot waiting for the elevator.

I pursed my lips. "Please stop calling me that."

"Does it bother you?"

"It reminds me that I actually have to be nice to Kendra again." I informed him.

He laughed. "Whatever you say, maid of honor."

I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Shouldn't have scolded you." I followed him into the elevator and he pressed the floor beneath us. "Now you going to annoy me to death."

"No, you shouldn't have." He said and the doors slid closed.

It didn't take long for the ding of the elevator to sound again. It was, after all, the floor right below us. I followed him down to a large room. "This is the bridesmaid suite." Christian said, opening the door and making a grand gesture.

"Jordyn Kent, is that you?" A voice asked me in surprise. I looked away from Christian and saw the familiar black hair and short girl.

"Alani, is that really you?" I asked her. Alani Kawai was a girl that used to be on my dance team. She nodded vigorously. "When did you and Kendra become such good friends?"

"Ah, well." She said. "We got put into the sorority and got to talking. We became 'good' friends and went shopping together. And I realized that Kendra is a bitch." She said in one breath only pausing before saying, "bitch".

A blonde emerged from the room. She was definitely someone I have not met before. "Another bridesmaid? Christian, you have to stop looking for them. We don't want the room to get packed." She hit him on the arm.

"I only found two." He defended.

"I'm Jordyn." I introduced myself. "I'm the maid of honor."

"Lauren, bridesmaid." She shook my hand. "I gather that you're good friends with Kendra, then, being her maid of honor."

I pursed my lips. "We grew up together, sure. That doesn't mean I like her or anything."

Christian laughed. "Poor Kendra none of bridesmaids really like her." We laughed with him. That was a poor choice in bridesmaids on Kendra's part. Christian's phone went off. "It's the groom, he probably needs a beer to recover from his wife. Although, he's so infatuated with her, he probably can't tell he has a headache."

"Fiancé." Lauren corrected him and kissed his cheek. "Bye Chrissy."

I turned to Alani. "Chrissy?" I mouthed. She laughed and nodded. "You, two are dating?" I asked.

Lauren nodded. "One and a half years." She beamed. How cute.

"Wow, that's a long time." I commented. Lauren beamed at me.

Alani took a hold of my wrists. "Anyways, did you see Aiden? Oh my God, he's not a beanpole anymore. He's so hot." Alani gushed about the groom. "I can't believe he turned out to look like that. Maybe the workouts at the gym actually do pay off. I remember when I first noticed. He and I were going to dinner with Lauren and Christian. When he came to pick Lauren and me up, he hugged me like he always does. While he was hugging me, I realized how huge his arms and muscles were and I was like 'Whoa'."

She pulled me over to her bed. I sat crisscross and Lauren sat next to me. "She can't get over it." Lauren whispered to me. She brought a box of truffles over with her. She opened it and handed one to me.
