I almost jumped ten feet in the air when Ginger touched my shoulder. I took a second to get my airflow under control with my hand over my chest as Parker and Ginger laughed at me. "Geez, Ginger." I sighed when I could relax.

Ginger smiled at me. "I see you're busy." She commented, glancing over at Parker. We were just having breakfast. No insinuation needed. "So, I'll be quick." She said and held out a folded piece of paper. "Kendra's to do list for the day for you." She informed as I started to unfold the paper. It wasn't a normal length paper. It was probably twice as long. Everything on it was planned to the minute.

"This is just for today?" I asked Ginger in disbelief. Okay, I knew that planning a wedding was stressful and a lot to do. We've been here for basically five months. I thought we'd have less to do this close to the wedding.

Ginger nodded. "There have been a lot of changes that she wants to make to the ceremony." She informed me. My eyes widened. "I also volunteered to come bring this to you because I wanted to tell you that Reina still hasn't answered me, and I'm a little worried." She pouted, and she looked like the little child again. It broke my heart.

I touched her forearm and squeezed it reassuringly. "She will listen to you. Believe me." I said. I glanced down at the list. "I have time to help you between 2:47 and 3 in the afternoon." I teased her in effort to make her smile.

Ginger cracked a small smile. "I'll pencil you in." She rolled her eyes.

"Sorry." I said.

She shook her head. "Not your fault. It's my sister's." She told me. "I'll just go find Alani or Seth."

"Alani likes playing matchmaker anyways." I smiled up at Ginger. "As soon as I can, I'll help you get her to talk to you."

Ginger was off then after the normal greetings, and I turned back to Parker. "You guys actually have great timing." I informed him as I finished smearing butter over my bagel.

"Why is that?" Parker smiled, leaning ever so slightly towards me as he bit into his toast. I thought he didn't know that I was so aware of his small movements towards me, but I was. I was painfully conscious of them.

I chuckled. "You came in the day after chaos had just subsided. Honestly, you guys are lucky you missed it. The wedding was this close to being over." I told him. Thinking about how recently everything happened was kind of insane, and peaceful moments like this, like having breakfast with a cute guy, was kind of surreal. Nothing was imploding at the moment that had to be fixed. It was bittersweet for me, though.

Parker smirked, leaning once again. His arm brushed mine a little, and I almost jumped back again. "Now, you've got me curious, Jordyn."

His eyes were piercing into my soul, and it was a little scary but very interesting at the same time. I felt my heart beat increase, and I felt the need to shift. "Um... uh..." I was flustered. So not cool.

"Hey, Jordyn." I heard a familiar deep voice pull my out of my embarrassment. I looked up into familiar, comfortable hazel eyes. Aiden. "Can we talk?"

I shifted in my seat, ready to get up and say "sure", but I got this pang from a memory of my conversation with Kendra last night. I wasn't scared of her, but I was scared of what she had on me. I knew she wouldn't hesitate to use it to threaten me. She wouldn't hesitate to do as she had said if I messed this wedding up for her. Oh, God. So I sat back down in my seat. "Um, well. According to Kendra's schedule, I've only got five more minutes for breakfast before Kendra wants me to do something with something, so I should probably finish this." I stammered through my excuse. My eyes were focused on the crumbs of my bagel because I would fold the second I looked into Aiden's eyes. I was just that weak when it came to him. "Later, though."
