I kept thinking about it. It wasn't hard to process what was going on in the picture that Aiden showed me last night. It was hard to process how he came to have the picture.

I looked down at the bright screen. It was a picture of the parking lot at the hotel. It was clear to see Kendra's face as she was turned to the side a little. The picture, though, is being taken as she walks away. She was dressed in a silky red and obviously expensive dress. There is also a guy leading her away from wherever this picture was taken. He wears a lame but date-worthy suit. If the guy wasn't wearing a high-end suit, it probably meant that he wasn't paid a whole lot. I'll be honest and say that I knew that because of Kevin.

I wasn't dumb. I knew what was going on. Kendra was going on a date with the lifeguard when she had told Aiden that she was doing some wedding stuff. Although, I thought that maybe Aiden didn't know that that was what was going on. He was hoping that that wasn't going on.

I had to play along. I couldn't tell it to him that what he thought might be happening was exactly what was going on. I couldn't find it in my heart to just crush Aiden like that. I should have if it was so obviously happening. This was the opportunity to tell him. Yet... "What is this?" I asked him in shock.

"Kendra was leaving the hotel with some guy. I don't know who it is, and I don't know where they went." Aiden told me worriedly.

"Well, whoever sent you the picture might know." I reasoned. "Do you know who sent it to you?" I asked him curiously. That was what I wanted to know. As far as I knew, it wasn't part of the plan to tell Aiden that his wife was a cheating scumbag who didn't know not to get caught in the act of cheating. Someone, though, might have gone rogue.

He shook his head. "No, and I thought that I had everybody's number that I know of." He scratched the back of his neck. I could see the stress taking its toll on him. He was worried out of his mind. He was more worried than he was hurt. Clearly, he was giving Kendra the benefit of the doubt.

I think anyone normal would have automatically jumped to calling Kendra a cheating bitch, but the stress on Aiden's face was not from anger. Then again, I didn't think anyone in this hell was normal. I shouldn't have expected as much. "Well, what do you wanna do about it, Aiden?" I asked him, putting my hand over his. I didn't know what he was thinking, and I was damn curious. He wasn't stupid, but he was hopeful. Sometimes optimism was blinding, and that wasn't always a good thing.

Aiden's frown deepened. "Right now? I just wanna know where she is and if she's okay."

I knew that Aiden had waited in Kendra's room all last night, but I never got any word of what happened to him after him dropping me off. He looked like a mess when he left. His hair was disheveled, and his shirt was unbuttoned. His tie was loosened greatly, and his eyes were tired. He looked like hell, basically.

I still wondered whether it was hurt disguised in worried or just worry. I made a mental note to check up on him because he wasn't here for breakfast. Neither was Kendra.

I sat down at the table with Alani, Lauren, and Christian. The girls had left my room yesterday before I had gotten back, but they expected a full report at breakfast. That was why they were sitting on the edge of their seats when I sat down. My expression, though, made them lose their smiles. "You look like a zombie with that worry on your face. What happened?" Alani said first as I sipped my coffee.

I shook my head before putting my glass down. "Aiden's really worried about Kendra." I told them.

"Why? As far as he knows, she was doing wedding details until late last night." Lauren commented. Well, she obviously didn't know about the picture, which meant that she didn't take it. Sure, it was shady of me to suspect her, but it was Lauren who had secretive vendettas against Kendra.
