A/N: This is a bit lenghty, so bear with me guys. 😅
===================================
In Rain City, visitors could say it's as lively as it always had been, but the residents could say otherwise. The city is thriving and flourishing than ever.
All this is thanks to a certain redhead. At some point while visiting his father's office, he decided to help the poor man in clearing his desk of some pending paper works. Of course he only picked those he deemed menial so he could finish them without a sweat. Well, this is Cale, and he has a different definition of menial.
As he works with the count, he would casually throw suggestions like 'Why don't we do this, dad?' or 'How about we try this first?' or 'Should we just stop this, and try another way?', to which the count would obediently comply.
The redhead didn't forget to act all cutesy and innocent so that his father wouldn't dump the work on him. It seems the count forgot that he was a grown man inside since it worked well. He also made sure to tell his father that the ideas should come from the count himself, so the vassals would have no choice but to agree to his propositions.
Little did he know that his father would proudly say that the ideas were from his son.
Traitor. That's what Cale would say to his father if he knew.
Needless to say, he remained oblivious to this fact as he doesn't really like to listen to gossips.
Thanks to his brilliant ideas, the county is slowly changing for the better. The people in the slums were given work in the count's farm and orchard, while some were provided a shelter in exchange for doing community service. An orphanage was also established. The children does community service and were given free basic education.
The stinky and dirty slums in the city was no more, instead, a lively neighborhood could be seen. The once feared man-eating tree is now glowing white and growing blue leaves. It somehow became a tourist attraction and helped the people's business thrive.
All of this is thanks to an oblivious angel.
Rumors really are amazing. The people were playing a game they weren't aware of. A message relay, and in each pass, they would add flowery words that would make the redhead lose all the blood from his face if he heard them. Thank goodness he remained detached from such rumors.Of course the father and son duo were aware of this and intentionally made it so the redhead wouldn't hear it.
Poor Cale. Well, he actually heard about it when he first met Billos. But Cale, our dear Cale somehow has the talent to forget things that he finds vexatious. How convenient.
The cunning butler is just waiting for the redhead's comical reaction when he hears about him being hailed as the 'Crimson Angel', apparently.
Like the smoke that cannot be gripped, words cannot be stopped from spreading. And that was enough for a certain blond to gain interest n the topic.

"Haaa..."
Cale sighed for the nth time while watching his reflection on the mirror. He's wearing a white ruffled inner shirt, black accessorized frock coat with gold lines on the edges of the collar and hem. The black trousers complementing the coat. The golden buttons with ruby in the center, could be seen shining from afar. His shoulder length hair was braided on the side and tied in a ponytail with a black ribbon.
