When He Xun heard her, his hands unconsciously paused as he picked up the noodles.

However he didn’t say anything and only lowered his head, rapidly eating and finishing the bowl of noodles that Peijin had cooked for him. Not only did he completely eat all of the noodles, but he didn’t let off the soup either, drinking it until not even a drop was left.

A bowl that had been completely filled to the brim with longevity noodles was finished in a matter of minutes.

Peijin sat at the side, quietly watching He Xun eat, waiting for him to finish. She couldn’t help herself from asking for his feedback, “Brother Xun, did the noodles taste okay?”

He Xun took a napkin, wiping his face with an elegant motion, “Not bad.” A moment later he solemnly added two words, “Thank you.”

This bowl of noodles that Peijin cooked for him today was the second bowl of longevity noodles he had ever eaten in his eighteen years of living. It’s tasted very simple and it’s appearance could only be regarded as passable, the works of typical workers couldn’t compare the craftsmanship of a five star chef. However, an indescribable feeling of warmth had come from eating it. This feeling he had, it was something he hadn’t felt in a long time.

Warmth. It wasn’t home here, but to have unexpectedly come across this feeling, it really was rare.

When Peijin heard the two words ‘Not bad’, a delighted smile was emerged on her face. She got up and took the bowl, a spring in her steps as she walked towards the kitchen.

Once she arrived at the kitchen, she turned the faucet tap to the hot water side and then picked up a steel sponge to clean the bowl.

All of a sudden, a deep, pleasant voice came from behind her, “Hey, Nerd.”

Peijin jumped in shock and then glanced over her shoulder, only to discover that it was He Xun, he had actually unknowingly come over at some time. At present, he stood right behind her with both his hands crossed.

He Xun still wasn’t wearing any clothes, so the physique of his wonderful teenage years was on display.

But now, Peijin was able to handle it calmly.

She had found that her ability to adapt was really strong. The first she had seen the aesthetically pleasing, strong lines of He Xun’s body, her heart-rate had sped up and she had really been flushed to the ears. Her whole persons had been densely enveloped by the feeling of bashfulness.

In her previous life, she really hadn’t interacted much with boys her age,  let alone see a boy’s nude upper torso daily. It didn’t need to be said that the benefits of her transmigration were great. As her roomate, He Xun’s had an uncommon level of handsomeness that rivaled a large explosion, his physique too.

However the more she saw it, Peijin felt that it was sufficient enough for her to cool herself down.

Even if He Xun’s ** was still very attractive to her, at least she hadn’t panicked like she did the first time she saw it, now she could cooly retract her gaze.

Peijin turned back, continuing to concentrate on washing the bowl in her hands as well as the pot and ladle she had used. It seemed as if the ladle in her hand had become more attractive than He Xun’s existence.

He xun clicked his tongue and with a sigh of emotion, he spoke, “Nerd, you really were born as the wrong sex.”

When she heard this, Peijin heard this, her heart violently jumped. Why had He Xun said this all of a sudden?

She was too afraid to even move her head, and goosebumps rose one by one from her body. She was only brave enough to faintly tremble as she asked in a rigid voice, “Brother Xun, what do you mean?”

He Xun walked to her side and watched her wash the dishes, leaning half of his body against the sink with his hands crossed. He languidly teased, “You’re a big man, but you’re actually an expert in household chores. If you were a girl, you’d definitely be a good wife and mother. (1)”

(1) Alternative: Understanding wife and loving mother

Peijin inwardly said, I’ve never been a big man in the first place. As for being a good wife and mother, only the future would tell, even she didn’t dare to confirm if she was or not.

She flashed a look at He Xun and discovered him to have an unchanged expression on his face, he also sounded very nonchalant, just like he was saying it for the sake of it. After she was aware of this, Pejin slightly let out a sigh of relief.

He Xun shouldn’t have found out anything. As expected, a majority of male students were relatively more careless.

However her high-strung heart rate still hadn’t been thoroughly lowered. At a time like this, she was afraid to show even the slightest mistake.

She went over her next words several times in her head, and only when she felt that it was acceptable did she open her mouth to reply “Even though I’m a guy, I can be a stay-at-home husband.”

He Xun gave her words a look of disbelief, “Hey, hey, hey? You’re actually chasing after a goal like this? To be a stay-at-home husband?”

Peijin rolled her eyes and replied somewhat dismissively, “Otherwise?”

He laughed, “You really don’t have any big ambitions.”

She straightforwardly admitted it, “I don’t feel that way either.”

He Xun taunted her, “It’s enough if a man can make money to support his family, once you have money, everything else is easy. Is there any need to work with your own hands?”

With this, he raised an eyebrow and his tone was absolute, “Anyways, I will never do any housework. I won’t, never.”

Peijin lowered her head and attentively focused on her working hands, blurting out, “Oh.”

“Doing house work is simply a waste of time.”

“Oh.”

Maybe it was because he mentioned the topic of a home so He Xun changed the topic and started talking about dating.

“Not only is housework a complete waste of time, but so is dating. Do you know how annoying Zheng Li’s previous girlfriend was? If you replied to her messages late she would go off, if she couldn’t find you she would get angry, if she was feeling uncomfortable and Zheng Li would reply with a ‘drink more hot water’ she would catch fire. What do you think, why do women love to get angry?”

Peijin nimbly arranged the washed dishes and wiped clean the water droplets that had gotten around the sink, her voice indifferent, “Oh.”

“When I date in the future, I will never do as my girlfriend pleases. If she likes to get angry she can get angry, I won’t coax her, and I will never become a submissive dog.”

As a matter of fact, Peijin replied like she wasn’t in the mood, she returned with a weak, “Oh.”

He Xun unraveled his hands and thought about various things before finally summing up, “Women truly are a troublesome type of creatures.”

Peijin’s face deadpanned, but she still gave a simple reply, “Oh.” So that’s why even though this person was so handsome and dressed so well, he was still a single dog.

Sure enough, being single was never without reason.

He Xun shrugged and his lips curled into a smile, hooking his arm over Peijin’s shoulders. Half of his body pressed against hers so that they were especially close.

His tone was blatantly playful as he continued, “Dating is boring, as long as I have my brothers it’s enough. Right, brother?”
