Jealousy

Something was off. You had already noticed, but this was the confirmation you were looking for. You were waiting for an hour for your so-called date, and he wasn't going to come. This 2-A student asked you on a date to train together and now he wasn't showing up.

Yup, just like before. For a while, whenever a guy made an approach to you, they would eventually disappear on you after that; you just never knew why. But you weren't going to take it anymore, you wanted an answer.

So, you made your way to his building, not looking back. He was right there at the front, with a few friends and the moment he saw you, he froze at your sight. "Why? Was it a joke?" Nobody knew what you meant, none of his friends knew he asked you out. "Are they part of you game too?"

He stood up to defend himself, "Y/N, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to."

"You didn't mean to, what exactly? Leave me standing? Play with me? What exactly you didn't mean?" His friends heard you and they looked at him, shocked.

"Did you ask her out? Are you crazy?" It was offensive to you, "Are you out of your mind? Do you want to die? He is going to kill you if he finds out!"

He looked at his friends, but you caught on what they were saying, "He? Who is he? What are you talking about?"

The guy sighed at his friends, "I'm sorry, Y/N. I was serious when I asked you out, but I didn't know there was a rule to not get close to you. He said that if anyone gets close to you, he will blast them. I wouldn't have asked you out if I knew it before, but I can't tell you who it is. We are not allowed."

You left immediately. You didn't need more information; you knew exactly who it was by now. It didn't take you long to get to your destination. You got into your own building and ran to the living room unplugging the TV. "Hey, Y/N! Why did you do that?" Kaminari said to you.

"You three owe me an explanation and I want it now." Kirishima grew worried, just like Kaminari, but Bakugo was unimpressed. He even stood up to leave.

"Don't even consider leaving, Bakugo. Because I'm sure you are the most responsible for this." He looked back at you about to yell at you, but you didn't let him. "Why is there a rule at school threatening anyone who wants to ask me on a date?"

Bakugo stood there frozen at your accusation. Kirishima and Kaminari stood up too, ready to leave, "This one is on you Bakubro. We told you that was a bad idea. I'm sorry, but we won't be killed by this."

You saw them run away, leaving a Bakugo standing in front of you, "I'm waiting on an explanation, Bakugo!" He didn't say anything. "You can't play with me like that! What about my feelings? I was stood up today! It was awful and because of your prank, my heart is broken."

"Who stood you up?" Was the only thing he said, "I can solve it, just tell me who did it, and I will handle it."

"That is not the point! I don't want you to play with me!" You were about to cry, not because that guy actually broke your heart, but you were so frustrated at the situation. Bakugo took you hand before you could leave. "Why did you do something so mean to me? I thought we were friends." You always had a thing for Bakugo, but ultimately accepted your fate as a friend and didn't think any further.

"You are not a game to me, Y/N." He led you to the backyard, to talk without anyone seeing you, "I just don't want you to date anyone else."

You were so mad at him. "What does it have to do with you? You make it sound like it's so simple, but it isn't! You can't make those decisions for me!"

"I am not making any decision for you!" He was losing his patience, "I am just buying time for myself! For when I have the courage to ask you out!" You gasped at his statement. "I don't want other guys asking you out, what if you fall in love with any of them?"

"Then ask me out, idiot!" You answered extremely mad at him.

"Wait, do you like me?" He said, you didn't want to answer, but he stopped you from running away, he pulled you closer, "You like me, don't you?" He was smirking, "It hasn't been that difficult to get you alone, you rejected almost everyone who asked you. You like me!"

"You are awful! I hate you!" You said, "You can't decide over my life!" He pulled you by the waist and you were almost touching each other's lips.

"You don't hate me. You like me. As much as I like you." Bakugo stopped smirking, "I am sorry, it was a dumb move, but I didn't think you will pay me any attention. I won't do it ever again." You nodded shyly, "Now that that is out of the question. Do you want to go on a date with me?"
