Friends with Benefits

"I think we need to stop." You said while looking for your underwear, looking back at the blonde that was now sitting beside you.

"Wait. What do you mean by stop?" He said carefully, trying not to lose his temper with you. It was not an easy task, but he was a smart guy, this conversation was more serious than ever. You found your panties and put them on to look for your skirt. Bakugo stopped you from the wrist, pulling you back to the bed. "Answer me. Stop what?"

You sighed, you knew this was the worst moment to bring this up, but you couldn't hide it anymore. "Us, Bakugo. I meant us. We need to stop this." You said signaling between the two of you. You got your skirt and tried to leave his room, but he ran to his door, still trying to get his shorts on.

"Why? Ok, we need to talk. Hold on, let me get a shirt or something and we can calmly talk about this." This was so out of character for him. He was losing his patience, but he was more scared of losing you and whatever you guys had.

"There is nothing to talk, Bakugo. I don't want to do this anymore. When we started seeing each other like this, you said that as soon as one didn't want to do it anymore, the other one would have to agree, no questions asked. I am asking for that."

He took you from the arms, "I said that a year ago. A year ago, we had nothing in common and it was only sex, what has happened in a year that you want to call this off?"

How could you tell Bakugo? How could you tell him that you wanted to break things off, because you had feelings for him now? "I am in love with someone else." You blurted out. Bakugo's eyes were filled with confusion, then sorrow and hurt, and finally, anger, rage.

"Leave." Was the only thing he said. He couldn't find it in him to say something else, to yell at you, to blast you away, to cry for you. You left his room and went on to cry to yours. He too fell to the floor, crying in silence after losing the woman he was in love with. How foolish of him to think that he would be able to keep you by his side with false promises of a friends with benefits relationship. Of course, someone else would come to take you away, he wasn't deserving of a love like yours.

Weeks passed by, and you couldn't shake the sadness out of you. You felt depressed, but you just couldn't be with him any further, so aware of the feelings you had for him, especially if he didn't love you back. That night, everyone was out, partying as usual. Everyone, but you; and Momo and Shoto, who stayed studying, but eventually ended up in your room, because you kept moping around.

Now, almost three hours later, Momo had to pick a call from her parents, so she left you with Shoto. "I really appreciate you being here, Shoto. But you can go join Momo. I know you want to." He shook his head.

"She wants me to be here with you, because you need us." You only nodded. "Is this about Bakugo?" You were shocked, "Don't act so surprised, it was obvious you guys were a thing and you suddenly are not anymore. You seemed happy."

"It's not that easy. It all started with a friend with benefits kind of thing, but then I developed feelings, and he didn't, and it had to end."

"Are you sure he wasn't in love with you? I think he was happier with you, and every time you were around, he was smiling, and now he just looks sad all the time."

Before you could say anything, your door opened. You guys thought it was Momo, but what you didn't know was that Bakugo also didn't join the party and was gathering the courage to come talk to you, he just didn't expect to find you in bed, with Shoto sitting right next to you.

Everything went so fast, if it weren't for your quirk that was able to capture Bakugo in a force field, your room would have been destroyed, and Shoto probably dead. "What the hell does this mean? Is Icy-Hot the moron you left me for? Really? What could he offer you that I can? Seriously! If there is anyone worse than me at relationships, it's him!"

"Stop! Shoto is dating me!" Momo ran into the room to be sure you were ok, "We were here for Y/N, and I left for a call. Nothing is happening between them!" Momo leaned on Shoto, who wasn't hurt at all, but she was still worried.

Bakugo looked so embarrassed, if you weren't still holding him in a force field, he would have definitely already run away. "Could you live us alone to talk?" Momo wasn't sure she wanted to do that, but Shoto gently pushed her to the door, you needed the time.

Once they were all gone, you released the force field and sat back at your bed, with him standing by your door, until he collapsed to the floor. "I am so sorry." He sobbed, "I was so mad and scared that you would leave me for someone else, I mean, you said you did, but then, you weren't around anyone, so I figured you said it to get me off you, which gave me the hope to win you back, but then Icy-Hot. I am sorry."

"Gave you hope? You want to get back together with me?" You asked, confused, and scared of how fast your heart was beating.

"Y/N." He was finally looking at you, "I am an idiot, and probably the worst option available for a boyfriend, but I asked you to be fuckbuddies, because I wanted the chance to be close to you, because I am in love with you. I know I don't deserve anything; I was content with being close to you at least every few nights, but then you broke things off, and I can't anymore. I am so freaking in love with you, I can't even control it."

All that information dumped into you, you had no idea what to do, what to say. So, you just came closer to him, and after a breath, you told him, "I broke things off, because I have feelings for you." He turned to you. "At the beginning, I thought I could control it, but then, every time we touched, or talked, or laughed, or even when you freaking smiled, my heart was beating faster, I wanted to end things, but I didn't know how, at least until that night, when I almost said that I loved you."

"You, you love me?" He said. The moment you nodded he pulled you closer to him, and kissed your lips as lovingly as he could. He laid you on the floor and towered over you to kiss you even more. "Everyone says I'm incredibly selfish and egocentric, and I think they are totally right. There is no way I'm letting you go from my side." He kissed you again, "We are officially back together, but for real this time, as a real couple, and we will finish senior year as a couple, and then work while being a couple, and move in together, and when we are famous and stronger enough, we will get marry and have a bunch of kids and create our own agency. Do you hear me?" You smiled, "Say it. Say that I'm right. Say that you'll be my girlfriend and marry me."

You smiled and kissed his lips, "I will. There is nothing I want more, my grumpy, grumpy, boyfriend." He kissed you again, until the next day. And as it would be every night, until the end of your days.
