Even though Love Bennett acted like nothing ever bothered her, seeing her teenage self getting reposted on Twitter was getting under her skin.

It made her sad, that the world come to this. Between the numerous posts that talked shit about her, there was still a few here and there that tried to defend her, report the posts and whatnot. But if she could go back she would slap some sense in Past-Love for being so dumb.

She should've gone to babysit in the neighborhood or walk some dogs like normal teenagers.

„Stop reading the comments, it will only make things worse," Corpse warned her for the thousandth time that day. Of course, she didn't listen.

„Everybody thinks I'm a whore," she frowned as she scrolled down more, seeing all the hateful comments. She didn't dare to look at her following numbers just yet, but she was sure as hell that it had gone down. „He got what he wanted."

„What of it?"

„What?" she snapped her head up, looking at him. He was sitting at the dining table with some chicken and some veggies, getting his first meal at two in the afternoon.

„What of it? The internet can think what they want. You can't change that."

He was right, but she didn't like the feeling.

„Uhm, excuse me, Hannah Montana," he rolled his eyes at the new nickname, but didn't comment on it. „Is that some life advice you gave me?"

„See it as you want," he shrugged his shoulder. „I'm just saying. They don't know you. Your friends know you. And they don't think about you that way."

It was true, all of her friends reached out to her to support her, and even on the socials, they tried their best to stand up for her. It warmed her heart that even her sister Angie reached out to her to make sure her little sister was doing okay, considering the circumstances.

„I'll have to leave soon for my therapy," Love announced, leaving his statement to hang in the air. „Will you be okay with Quinn here?"

Both of them looked at the cat, who slept peacefully on the couch, totally oblivious to the stares she just got.

„I guess," Corpse replied, but the unsureness in his voice was still there.

„She won't cause any trouble, she just sleeps and eats most of the time. But I'll be back in no time."

Love leaned over and kissed his cheek, causing the two of them to blush. They kissed before, they even slept in the same bed, but such a simple act as a kiss on the cheek still caused them to blush.

„Will you survive without me?" Love teased him, earning a slightly annoyed look from him.

„You're getting annoying," Corpse commented bluntly, his voice emotionless. But his eyes still softened when he looked at her.

„I know you love me," the girl sang as she made her way towards the door, ready to leave for her appointment. She had missed a few therapy appointment, considering all the shenanigans she stumbled upon, but she was excited to meet with her therapist. She missed Victoria.

Sure, Victoria was paid for listening to her problems and asking the right questions, but Love was sure that if she wasn't her therapist already, they could've been good friends.

„I tolerate you," he corrected, but seeing the wide smile on her face made his heart skip a beat.

Both of them knew that was a lie.

„Love, that's a crime," Victoria stated, her eyes widened in surprise. „You have to go to the police."
