Lance's eyes weakly opened into a bright room with low ceilings.

Why that bothered him he really didn't know.

There was pain thrumming softly through his body and he desperately wanted a healing pod.

He cast his eyes around to try and figure out who had found him. The light grey walls reminded him of the Garrison but the light blue glow from the lights reminded him of the castle.

Things he knew he had lost, after all the castle was destroyed months ago and the Garrison wasn't far behind when earth was attacked.

He forced his pain from his mind and sat up but he hardly contained the whimpers.

Once sat up, although the room was spinning, he knew he wasn't any place familiar.

He tried to read the words on the screens of the machines but his mind was so tired and his eyes just... He couldn't read.

Maybe it was a dream.

Blue gave an encouraging soft growl. He looked down to see his arm in a sling it didn't really hurt so that was nice.

He glanced towards the door at the other end of the room wishing his eyes would fix.

He knew he was in some sort of building or ship, but where he was exactly wasn't going to be so easy to determine.

He had to get to a control room or maybe a window? Something.

So he disconnected himself from the many wires and cables that connected him to different machines that were now seeming familiar before he stumbled towards the door.

His ears were ringing but he wasn't deterred. He had to figure this out.

But he stopped mid step when something caught his eye. Sat in a plant pot was a small cactus.

Lance hadn't seen any earth planets in years.

Blue, until I figure this out, tell the others to stay away, to stay hidden. I don't want anyone getting hurt.

But-

Please Blue, I don't want to lose you guys, you're all I have.

His head thrummed with pain, it was either the distance from the lions, their emotions or his body crying out for rest. But he ignored it, he had to figure out what was going on.

"Sir?"

"Yes JARVIS?" Tony asked leaning back in his chair as he rubbed his face.

This piece of armour was going nowhere.

"The boy is awake."

That wasn't what Tony expected. He whirled around looking towards the door. "How? He had a pretty severe concussion and-"

"Yes sir, he has left the medical bay."

Tony was quickly on his feet moving across the lab towards the elevator. "Get me to him J."

It had been a normal afternoon being an Avenger when a massive energy spike happened. Seconds later a gigantic robot fell from the sky.

It had a pilot, a boy who looked no older then 17.

Where he had come from, what he was flying, why he was injured were all things people wanted answers to, but no one knew.

That had been a week ago.

Jarvis let him out of the elevator on the lounge level.

There he found the kid staring out the large glass windows looking terrified and amazed in one.
