Back to the mortal world
In Lotus Pier
An (incomplete) family of 6 were sitting in the main hall discussing their next moves, once they had returned to their home after watching the memories they found out almost no time had passed in the real world.
Unfortunately a few days after returning they found out that the major sects and some of the minor sects were having issues with food, water, cultivation, trading, etc. These sects were all the ones that had hated and scorned Wei Wuxian almost as if the gods were punishing them for their actions.
(They were, just Wei Wuxian did not know because we all know he would object)
As soon as they got back, those that had been in the room immediately worked on clearing Wei Wuxian's name and revealing some of the less personal memories to the world such as the Wen's, the camps, Wei Wuxian's heroic actions, etc.
The Wen siblings were offered considerable compensation for their part in the war and their mistreatment. Still, they refused, feeling disgusted at touching anything related to the people who had torn their brother apart.
Instead, they had decided to travel around helping those in need just as their brother dreamed of, and maybe even hoping they would come across him.
Those who had been present for the memories had only held one thought "to give the angel of a being and the sweetest person ever the love and justice he deserves."
Jiang Cheng and Jiang Fengmian were discussing how to fix the sect, due to the issues going on many disciples and even elders were leaving the sect, they had a meeting with the other sects scheduled later in the week but they were trying to come up with a solution on their own.
They were all struggling to find a solution as they didn't even know the root of the problem itself. As this argument was ongoing Jin Ling couldn't help but mutter "if Daijiu were here we would have been over with this problem before it even started."
The room was instantly silenced to a pin drop the second those words left the youngest member's mouth. Jin Ling realizing that he had said it out loud immediately put his hands on his mouth as all attention was now focused on him.
Zidian had lit up on Jiang Cheng's finger and Yanli had tears in her eyes as Zixuan tried to comfort his wife. They all knew it was true, Wuxian without a doubt would have solved this issue quickly and efficiently, and realizing this made the lack of his presence even more noticeable and unbearable.
Jiang Cheng spoke up "That idiot would have worked days and nights without a care for himself to solve this because he didn't like to see anyone in pain." He squeezed his palms hard enough to draw blood at the memories that kept flowing in.
He knew all of them were thinking of the same scene when he had lost his core and his brother had worked himself almost to death in order to find a solution to his misery.
