Chapter 38:Golden Question part 2

I felt Aiden big hand on my belly as I started to wake up. His arm stilled wrapped up , he used his fingers to make a pattern on my belly. His eyes glued on his phone , reading glasses and all.

I grabbed his finger and interlocked our hands. It seemed not to bother him at all ,as he held our hand tighter.

" I know I should have told you about Steven. " I grumbled as I sat up and looked at him. He didn't look up from his phone as I held my gaze.

" I know melody, I know".

"Well the look at me then." I moved closer to him and ran my hand down his naked back. He shook my hand off a bit and put his phone closer to his face.

"Aiden please" but not even my soft cries can make him look at me.Groaning I got off the bed and walked over to his side. Removing his glasses I pushed his phone away .

"I am working , I have to make money " He finally looks up for a few seconds. He puts the phone by his face again. I groaned and moved his phone again. I moved foreword and sat on his lap. With a big huff I wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face in it. I held him close as I could as he tried to push away.

"Melody , stop" Aiden arms go limp around me. I let go of his neck and put his arms around my waist.

"Kuschelbär.."I brought his face toward my forehead and held him.

He finally gave in and held my waist , and grumbled .

"Melody , how am I suppose to feel. You let him stay at our house without letting me know first. Imagine if i let just brought Jenna over to sleep here". I felt his arms go around my waist and rubbed my belly.

"I understand baby , but do not hate me. He is very nice to me , he is my friend". I grabbed his hands and held them to my belly. He sighed and started to rub circles around belly.

"Why him? He seems to like you. But i do not have a problem with him , i had a problem of you dismissing me " Aiden let me go but I still held him close.

"Baby what do you mean?"

"I mean , I am trying so hard to be with you but you are pushing me away". Looking down at his hands , I grabbed his fingers. Interlacing our fingers , I squeezed him hard.

"It is hard to love then you are 8 month pregnant ." I giggle a bit but he seems cold still.

"Melody I am being serious. I can not have-" With that I heard a knock on the door. I looked at Aiden and looked at him with a innocence look.

Our eyes locked as he looked at me with confusion and lust. My eyes tilted as I placed his hand on lap. Without looking away , I held onto him .

"I love you too much to see you leave, Melody. I know we were meant for each other .The future that we hold is so rocky and I am hoping that we last." Aiden whispers in my ears , causing me to let a tear to fall. Holding my breath , I felt Aiden catch the tear before it fell to my chin.

"Aiden- I am so sorry . I don't know what to do ". Our hands played with each other as we let our emotion fall.

"Melody , Stop crying .. Please-" The knock became harder and louder making us look at the door. I saw him slowly push me off and walking to door. Looking down to the bed , I grabbed Aiden pillow and held close to me as he looked at me . I felt a pain in my heart as he leaned against the door.

"Who is it?" Aiden gulped out as his head was on the frame of the door.

"Um it is Steven , I was on my way out . Belle wants to say bye to Mel". Aiden moves away the door , and sits on the bed. It was as if we changed positions as he looked at from his shoulder.

Jumping off his bed, I walked around , wiping my tears. He looked at me , tears in his eyes as we looked at each other.

Handing him his phone , He looked confused and looked at the phone.

"When you wonder about our future and don't trust me again , look at that phone. If you ever forgot my love again Aiden Schulze , You remember all the shit we went through. We have foght to much demons to let us go again. I won't you go Aiden , you hate the power to do that now. " With that , I walked up to my man and kiss his cheek.

Fixing myself , I opened the door and saw Steven and Belle , smiling at me.

"Aunty Mel!" Belle ran and hugged my legs . I smiled at her little smile and held her .

"Belle , how did you sleep ".

"Very good Aunty , Where is AIDEN?" She giggles and runs pass me. Aiden is staring at his phone ,looking into space.

"Aiden!" Belle ran and hugged him , much to his surprise. Aiden gives the little girl a hug , waving at her but not saying a word.

"Well we have to go , say bye Belle ". Steven hugs me and Belle waves goodbye. I waved at them and blew a kiss to Belle.

"I LOVE YOU AUNTY MEL!BYE BYE". I giggled and waved at the cute family.

"Talk to you soon Mel.Thanks again." I nodded and I saw him give me a thumbs up. He strained his face and mouthed to me "you alright?"

I nodded and waved at him again. He looked conflicted but left the house , causing me to look at my man again.

"Well?"

"You want me to look at a picture of us when we were broken up? How does that make sense Melody?" I rolled my eyes and walked to the bed again.

"The time where we were at our worst , we made it through". I smiled as he traced the phone at our happy time.

"All I wanted was you in my arms". He admits as he turns around to see me.

"I'm yours Aiden. You need to understand that and I can't keep reminding you that."

"I love you Melody."He tilted his head to look at me and I sighed at his small confession.

"I love you too ". I gave him a small smile and looking at his big eyes.

I saw him get off the bed and walk over to me. Grabbing my hand , we interlocked fingers and he handed me a sweater. Grinning as he lead me downstairs , we stepped outside the chilly morning. Holding me close to him as he grabbed a sweater for him self and handed me slippers , we walked. Walking to our backyard , you could see the ocean from the distance.

"Ready?" He asked as he looked down at me.

"For Kai? Not at all." His arms wrap around my waist and kiss my forehead.

He chuckled and walked with me the beach. It was a little far but all worth it as we saw the ocean. I looked at his hair move in the breeze as felt the sand in between our the sand. We sat on the sand , watching the waves move back and forth. I felt him put his arms around me and hold me close as we watch the Sun set . His heart was beating as fast as a roadrunner. Playing with his fingers as I look after the distance, I felt Kai kick. Grabbing his hand , I put it on Kai kicking frenzy as he chuckles.
"Looks like we have a future soccer player in there".I say as the waves get closer and he rubs circles around my belly.
"He is kicking you real good Sonneblume ".
Aiden concerned voice was noticeable and I chuckled.
"Aiden it's alright it happens to everyone he's just excited to see or hear his parents getting along".
Aiden kept his hand on my stomach and rub circles until I yawned and leaned on his shoulder.
" Aiden ?"
"yes sonneblume".
" I love you"
"and I love you"
"Aiden do you think-" I was cut of as he gulped loudly and looked my direction

"Marry me."

I saw the ocean keep moving as I looked at the sky this time. I could his feel his heart beating hard .I smiled and looked at he present enagement ring already and chuckled.
"Okay"
