Chapter 24 :Sailboat

It was been a eventful week since Aiden and I found out about the baby. I can't believe we will be having a boy. A boy who will touch the heart of many. But Aiden and I had bigger problems. Aiden mom has been sending in imaginable things to the old house .

First it was the dead roses, baby clothes and even wine. I had Nicklaus live with us until we could handle this. soon we will show the police the security camera footage.

The worst part is we will tell the truth on all of Aiden mother for a pled deal. We were offered a pled deal when the police contracted us about Mrs. Schulze corruption. She had been scamming insurance company with the company name. Although we got some bad press I felt safe knowing she will put her in jail.

Aiden wasn't too happy that his mother was a criminal but maybe we can closer this chapter in our life.

But back to us and the baby boy . We were going to decorate today.

"No Aiden I said sea green not royal blue ". I threw my brush on the floor as huffed in his direction.

"Melody , for goodness sake I have changed the paint two times! " I pulled a frown but just walked up to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pecked his nose.

He smiled and just grabbed the paint. Groaning he started to walk out "I will be right back ".I smirked as he walked downstairs. I was almost done with the baby's room. It would be a cute sea blue with sailboats. Daddy wanted his boy to have a soccer theme but I didn't want anything to be bright. We said sailboats would be fine for now. I drew the sailboats then painted over them I need sea green for the sail and I would be done. Aiden had made 2 stops to the store already but he just doesn't listen.

"Hey Mel." I turned to see Nicklaus with fast food in his hand. I clapped in glee and we walked downstairs. Nicklaus laughed and followed me downstairs. I opened the bag to see 3 hamburgers and fries. I smiled at Nicklaus and handle him the food.

Aiden walks in with 2 buckets of paints , sweating . He walks over to the table and sits next to me. He kissed my cheek and I looked at him. He looked a little upset as he tears into the burger.

I put my food down and looked between them "what is going on between you two?"

"Ask him"Nicklaus pointed to aiden as Aiden smirked. But aiden face turned straight to frown and looked at me.

"He brought some girl over to our house and had sex with her in our kitchen!" I gasped and looked at a blushing Nicklaus. He looked down and nodded slowly.

"Why would you do that ?" My voice came out very low and strong but still understanding. Aiden on the other hand was very abrasive in his tone." Because he shows off our house as his! I worked hard getting this house Nicklaus !"

Aiden stood up at the table and took his food and walked to the couch. Sighing I clasped nicklaus hand and looked at him " girls in the room , not the stove okay?"

He just nodded and we just kept eating. After a good hour of nonsense talking and laughter , I saw Aiden passed out on the couch. I smiled and looked at Nicklaus "what shall I do for his birthday."

Okay aiden birthday in tomorrow and I still haven't planned anything. Aiden is going to be 37 , woah that sounds weird to say. Woah our age different is scary now. I will be 23 in 3 months and I am 5 months pregnant so hopefully I will be 23 when my baby boy is born. My family has a history of early babies. 14 year age different, but that isn't to bad , I hope.

As I was talking to myself , nicklaus just stare in confusion. I snapped out of it and looked at him " brainstorm now" .
