chapter 31: No matter how small

So his name is kai due to popular vote and please stop being angry about it because it was voted on .

Okay onto the story.

Aiden POV

I think it is my turn to be the weak one.

I have been the most selfish guy on earth.How dare I treat a woman like crap.

There is absolutely nothing romantic about my name calling , my mental abuse to melody or my son.

I am the tyrant , I am the shameful man . I should have not treated her so bad . She told me to get help and that is what I am doing but I need her back.

I gulped and looked up to the man writing notes. He was nodding at me , straight face and hard shell to break.

"Can you name a time  you realized you fell in love with her?" I looked at the therapist and bit my lip.

" I noticed I was in deep love with her when she saved me".

"Saved you from what Aiden? " The man gets closer as he writes down his thoughts.

"She saved me . I was in an alcoholic rampage . She just stayed and watched me destroy my home. She just sat there , like a woman without a care. I called her names but she took it. When I feel down she walked up to me and stroked my hair." I smiled at her beautiful features as I remember her. She just sat on the couch as I took apart my home

"She was just my assistant at the time , but she was the love of my life"

I grab a tissue and wipe my tears quickly. I look at the man in front of me and he handed me a ultra sound of my baby.

" why Kai?  It isn't a manly name at all?"He  smirks as I run a hand down the photo.

"She called me and said she wanted Kai Zander Pierce" I shrug at the idea of his name , as a tough ass I wanted a tough name.

"Did she say Schulze? "He looked at me through his old eyes and glasses.

"Of course she did , he is mine". He smiled and looked at me again.

"Okay , but why Kai?"

" I seriously don't know , I mean Kai means Ocean. I wanted Xavier but that means owner of house".
The man and I chuckle a bit but he smiled at me again.

"What about Zander and Pierce" He handed me a picture of myself and Melody.
Looking down , I couldn't help but frown at how happy we were.
"Zander means defender of the people and Pierce means rock".

"It doesn't take a genius to figure this out Aiden.  She is from Hawaii , where she spent most of her best time with her father. Kai is in memory of her father and there good time in the ocean. While Zander represents the fact he will defend you. He will defend your honor but he defend his mother ."

"How did he defend Melody?" I looked at him in confusion . I felt a pang on my head as I saw the man hit me with a pen. I rubbed my forehead as he slowly walked back to his chair.

"You are bigger idiot than I thought.  You both lost your baby ! But he defend himself and he is alive now .He defend her because she wasn't hurt as well. And for the name Pierce he is the rock to hold you guys together".

"DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE A CHANCE!"I move my hands up and down and smile. I look at the doctor hopefully as he rolls his eyes.

"Yes Aiden but it will not be easy, take today as a day just to apologize. She has been through to much with you". He stood up and walks slowly over to my crutches. 
I reached for them but he pulls them back quickly and looked at me.
