Amy peered into the water. It was shiny, green, and smelled nice too. It was a nice feeling out in the fresh atmosphere. She wished it was home. Out in the air where some tall dark branches of trees filled with a colour of dark green within the leaves.

Amy then frowned. Nothing was really the same, she thought. Dogs were her favourite animal and now she doesn't even have a dog anymore. Her dog's name was Alexa. A loveable and endearing golden retriever that was always by her side.

Amy felt very real grief. This was the case almost every day since Alexa passed away from cancer.

Amy remembered her mother and father at her side sighing and speaking softly to make Amy feel calm. They said that "Alexa was a beautiful dog and very remarkable." Everyone who has ever met Alexa will know that she is the best dog anyone could ask for. She loved swimming and especially fresh bones. She loved going for walks and loved greeting new people.

Amy then suddenly heard some laughter. Her sister, Marissa opened the squeaky ancient door. "Amy! Uncle Sam and Freida are here."

Amy sighed again and smiled. "Oh really? Where are mum and dad?"

"They're here too."

"Oh okay...?" Amy questioned.
