Exiting out the castles rear doors, I hear screaming coming from the garden area. Walking closer, not wanting to be seen, I peek around a planted lemon tree.
There stands Baron, Lucias, and Talon, their arguing with each other. Stepping closer, I try to listen in. I'm curious that way.
"She told me herself!" Talon yells at Baron, he throws his hands in the air trying emphasize his point.
"You're lying, Talon. You'll say anything to send her away!" Lucias tells him, I realize their arguing about me.
"Whatever if you don't believe me, ask her yourself!" Talon seems to be getting angrier.
"She doesn't have a lover or boyfriend, she would of told us!" Baron disputes Talons argument. Not able to control my self, I chuckle at the absurdity of their dispute. Feeling arms go around my waist, I jump at the contact.
"It's not nice to snoop, beloved." Moving my hair; he kisses my neck, making shivers go all through me.
"I'm not snooping they were being very loud...and very silly." Malik's rumble laugh on my neck has me quivering all over. Stepping away from his embrace, I walk over to the others. Their petty argument stops, all looking down at me.
"Whatcha doing?" Knowing I'm being a little tease, I just smirk at them.
Malik walks up behind me, huffs at my naughtiness and grabs me again.
"Nothing, we're just...talking." Seeing the white lie that Baron tries to offer; I just hmmm.
"Well you're talking was pretty loud, I heard you from all the way over there." Pointing at the lemon tree, smirking, I bounce on my feet, waiting for all of them to confess. Undoubtedly with them being men, that will never happen.
"We we're arguing about you." To my unbelievable shock Lucias confesses the truth. Nodding my head, looking at each of them. I decide to keep being devious.
"About what?" Trying to play innocent.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" Baron cuts straight to the point. Wanting to leave them hanging for just bit longer; I try to play it cool.
"What gave you that idea?" Though I know full well, who did and why? He made assumptions now he has to deal with the consequences.
"Talon did," looking to Talon, he crosses his arms, daring me to defy him.
"Never said I had a boyfriend." Talons eyes go wide, throwing his hands in the air.
"You said last night, that you couldn't be with the one you love, am I wrong?" Shaking my head, looking at each them. Figuring I'd just go ahead and put them out of their misery.
"Yes I did, but I was referring to my brother, not a lover or boyfriend." Emphasizing the word brother, Talon looks shocked and a bit embarrassed. Now I feel bad. Walking over to him, wrapping me arms around his neck. I look into his eyes. Those beautiful brown eyes.
