Chapter Sixty Two

Naomi's pov

"Back to being a stalker again?" I heard a familiar voice say. I didn't bother looking at her and just rolled my eyes before focusing back on the girl I'd been watching from afar.

"I'm respecting her decision," I respond and sigh while watching Yves enter the Police Department with a man wearing a black suit.

"She just needs time Naomi, she'll come around." Pag papagaan nito sa loob ko at tinapik ako sa balikat.

"Hmm... What are you doing here Honey?" Tanong ko sa kaniya at nilingon na siya.

"Oh, Yves called me. She wants me to accompany her." Sagot niya at ngumiti ng malungkot sa akin.

I bit my lips before giving her a forced smile, ignoring the ache in my heart when she said that.

Yves wants Honey to be there instead of me. Pero sino ba naman ako para mag reklamo at masaktan, ako ang may kasalanan. Wala akong magagawa kung mas pipiliin niyang makasama si Honey kesa sa akin.

Honey is willing to sacrifice her life for Yves while I... I'm the villain in her life. I'm the one who agreed to remove her mother's life support. I'm the one who messed up their life. Of course, my existence will be nothing to her.

"Hey... don't worry, she's all yours. I won't make a move on her. Besides, she loves you so much. I doubt that she'll even love me the way that she loves you." Putol nito sa pag iisip ko.

"Nah... I doubt it. She probably wants me to die after niyang malaman ang mga ginawa ko." Sagot ko at nag iwas ng tingin sa kaniya.

"Naomi, she's not Kyline and what you did is for her own good. For their own good, for their own safety. Yes may pag kakamali ka din pero it's not entirely your fault. Her mother is the one who asked you to end her life and misery. Medyo tanga ka lang sa part na hindi ka nag sabi sa relatives ng pasyente. Pinangunahan mo sila." Turan naman nito.

Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya bago tumango tango nalang sa kaniya. "Hmm..yeah. I'm stupid on that part."

I'm stupid for not going straight to Yves and telling her what her mother wants. Instead, I went to her father and told him.

I sat there with a drink in my hand as tears continuously falls from my emotionless eyes.

Do you ever experience being in too much pain that you feel numb?

My tears continue to fall as I let the voices in the background fade, telling me that it's okay.

To stop and think about myself...

"Naomi please put that glass down. Araw araw ka nalang nag lalasing, kulang pa ba?" I know who that voice belongs to.

"Kulang ang alin? Ang alcohol or yung sakit?" I coldly respond to her.

I heard her sigh. "Alam kong nasasaktan ka pero kung mag papakalasing ka araw araw mawawala ba yung sakit?"

Nag salin muna ako ulit ng alak sa baso ko bago uminom dito at sagotin si Margaux. "She called her Margaux... Yves called her, she wants to be with Honey instead of me. At alam mo kung ano yung mas masakit? Yung may parte sa akin na sumasang ayon na mas mabuti pa kung si Honey nalang yung mahalin ni Yves. Because I know that she's better than me. She can take care of Yves better than me. She can give Yves everything she wants and need, I can't."

"To be honest, you can't blame her for wanting to stay away from you. After she found out na may kinalaman ka sa pag kawala ng Mommy niya sa tingin mo ba hindi siya masasaktan? Pero Naomi, that doesn't mean na hindi ka na niya mahal or ayaw na niyang mag karoon ng ugnayan sayo. She just needs time to process everything. Sil loves you Naomi, you don't know how much she loves you. Nung last day natin sa resort I saw her and Honey talking. Honey warned her to not trust anyone and after that naging maingat na si Yves sa mga sinasabi niya kapag kausap niya tayong lahat. Kahit sa mga kaibigan niya ay ganun siya, except sayo. Hindi ka niya pinag hinalaan, kahit na ilang beses kang binanggit ni Kyline sa kaniya. She keeps on denying it kasi hindi siya naniniwala na kaya mo yung gawin sa kaniya, kaya alam kong mahirap para kay Yves na malaman niyang it was you all along..."
