"I don't know what to do" I cried to Robin, who was rubbing comforting circles on my shoulder. Bruce and Vance are gone. I don't know if I'll ever see them again.
"They're gonna find the bitch that took them" Robin tells me. I can't tell if he's comforting me or himself. My guess is both.
"They haven't found the last boys! What makes this any different?" I ask.
"Because he took two. He has two boys right now, and he's taking them shorter apart. There has to be more evidence now" Robin tells me.
"I need to look for them" I tell the boy with a croaky voice, tears staining my cheeks. "I gotta find them"
"Skye, no" Robin orders. "That's dangerous. What if you get taken?"
"I won't. He only takes boys, right?" I assure him. I hugged him one last time and walked out the door.
I'm gonna find them.
