Chapter 25 - Christmas Special

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Princess, it's 6AM," Daddy said.

"But it's Christmas!" I shouted full of excitement.

Daddy jumped out of bed.

"Of course, I'd never forget," Daddy said.

"Let's go get Lydia and Nico," I said.

We started walking out together.

"ARASHI!" Haruka shouted out of nowhere.

I facepalmed and turned to Daddy. He sighed.

"I forgot we had guests," he whispered.

"I wish we didn't," I whispered back.

I turned around to face Haruka.

"Hey Haruka!" I greeted. "What are you doing up at 6 in the morning?"

"Ah, I couldn't sleep that well so I decided to take a walk around then I got lost," Haruka said.

"Ah, I see," I said.

"Where are you guys going?" Haruka asked.

"Nowhere," I said. "I'll get Aries to escort you back to your room."

"That would be great," Haruka said. "Thanks Arashi!"

"No problem," I said.

I called Aries who came immediately and led Haruka back to her room.

"There's something funny about that one," Daddy said as Haruka and Aries left.

"You mean by the fact that she is Maiko's twin?" I asked.

"Nah, something else about her bothers me," Daddy said.

"Same, I didn't want to say anything though," I said. "But on the other hand, I feel like we're being a little biased."

"True," Daddy said. "Let's go!"

We snuck into Lydia and Nico's room.

"IT'S CHRISTMAS!" I shouted.

"Of course it is," Nico said with a yawn.

"It's the only day that she'd not only wake up but wake up early after all," Lydia said.

"Let's go Christmas-ing!" I shouted.

"Let's go!" Lydia said now getting ready.

We decorated the place with a Christmas tree and Christmas lights. We made a Christmas feast and gave every worker the rest of the week off to their families.

"Ahhhhh, doesn't this place just feel Christmasy?" I said.

They all nodded in agreement.

"What's with the racket so early in the morning?" Konato said walking into the room.

"Oh, I almost forgot they were here in all the happiness," I said.

"True," Lydia said.

"Oh how we wish," I said.

"Should I be offended?" Konato asked.

"Rather than being offended, I think it would be best if all of you guys, I don't know... left?" I said.

"Shots," Nico whispered.

"Ouch, I'm hurt Arashi," Konato said. "Your words cut deep."

"Eh, the truth hurts," I said.

"Maybe we can go out for Christmas," Daddy suggested.

"But we did all this already," Nico said.

"True," Lydia agreed.

"Maybe they can go out," I said.

"I like that idea," Daddy said. "For Christmas, I officially ban you guys from my house for the day."

"YAY!" I cheered.

"Who's going to pass on the message?" Nico said.

"Oh true, we gave everyone a holiday break," I said.

"It doesn't hurt to kick them all out by ourselves," Daddy said.

"Then let's wake them up and kick them out," I said.

We gathered everyone up and got through all the complaints about being kicked out then gave them some money to spend on.

"But we have money," Konato said.

"We're paying you to LEAVE," I said.

"Isn't this somewhat cruel to guest?" Hiro said.

"Isn't it also rude to intrude on a family tradition?" Daddy said.

"Exactly!" Nico said.

"Then we shall take our leave," the rat said.

Raven went to open the door. Then there was a massive amount of bright white flashes then he closed the door.

"It seems you have some company," Raven said.

"More?" I said.

"They are probably reporters for the Battle," Daddy said.

"But that's in 2 days," I complained.

"I'll handle this," Nico said.

Nico stepped outside the door and within minutes all the reporters cleared away.

"Wow, what magic did you use?" I asked.

"No magic, just told them that I'd give them interviews after the Battle and hope they enjoy their Christmas," Nico said.

"All of them?" I asked with wide eyes.

"Yup," Nico said.

"Wow Nico, that's amazing," I said.

"I got everything covered," Nico said. "Now it's time for our company to leave."

All 8 of them, with some struggle, left the house within minutes. Lydia, Nico, daddy and I celebrated Christmas. We played Christmasy songs, exchanged gifts, made wishes, played games, watched movies, and finally ended the night with our Christmas feast.

"Man, that was amazing," Nico said.

"Been a while since I had so much fun," Lydia said.

"Tell me about it," I said. "All this drama is stressing."

"Next thing you know the whole world will fight for my princess," Daddy said.

"You know they are all in it for the money," I said.

"So very true," Daddy said.

"I know a secret though," Nico said. "There's one good one."

"But the bad ones just seem to stand out more," Lydia said.

"If he got Lydia and Nico's approvals then he must be good," I said.

"I have no idea who it is," Lydia said. "Just going along with Nico."

I laughed and we all fell asleep on the couch.

Writing a Christmas special in the summer is kind of weird but nice. I got tired listing all 8 of them so halfway through I just decided to kick them out of this filler. I don't actually know what normal people do for Christmas so I just listed the obvious things people see on TV, personally I just go out to eat. They fell asleep without letting the 8 back in the house so maybe next chapter will be the survival of the 8, just maybe, I dont really care for thr 8 that much xD Anyways don't forget to Vote, Share, Follow, and Comment :) Feedback is always welcomed.
