Cole was at home writing in his journal and then grabbed his guitar to see if the lyrics that he wrote sound good to him.

Cole's phone started buzzing so he stopped what he was doing and he picked up to answer it.
"Hey Cole are you busy?" Maddie asked.
He rolled his eyes and then sighed.
"Yeah I am really busy right now." He said.
"Really with what?" She asked.
"I am just helping my cousin with something since she ask for my help so yeah." He lied.
"Okay well when you are done, can you come over we need to talk about you know."
"Maddie I will talk when I feel like talking to you okay."
Maddie was about to say something but Cole hangs up the phone.
Cole grabbed the cigarette pack that was on the table then took one out so he could light it up and smokes it.
Sometimes he wonder why he is still with Maddie like he didn't just propose to her couple weeks ago and then she rejected the proposal like it doesn't make any fucking sense.
Anything that he do will always backfire no matter what and the problem is that the pain will never go away.

Cole rings the doorbell and his uncle Thomas opened the door.
"Hey Cole how are you doing?" Thomas asked.
"I am doing great Uncle thanks for asking." Cole said.
"Really are you sure?" He asked.
"Maybe I don't know that's all I am gonna say."
Cole walked inside and his uncle closed the door behind him.
Cole could see his other uncle who is in the living room who was talking to Paulo, Cole little cousin.
"Hey Uncle what are you doing here?" Cole said sarcastically.
"You know I was having a great day so I was like let me just go see my brother and bother him." Julio said.
"You know what is so annoying that you act like this is your house." Thomas said.
Cole chuckled and then sat down on the couch next to his cousin.
"I don't at all."
"Interesting and somehow I wonder if you were dropped in the head when you were born."
"There is things I want to say to you but I can't because there are kids here."
"Who you calling a kid?" Cole asked
" Cole you act like a kid sometimes."
Paulo laughed and Cole rolled his eyes at him.
