"It's the least we could do after...you know" – said Morbius walking inside carrying the passed-out Daimon over his shoulder and putting him on the couch of the living room
"But just to clarify, we were doing our job" – said Blade
"Hunting and killing it's considerate a job?" – Asked Phillip
"For people on the meat business it can be" – joked Marc – "our case is quite different though" – he added leaning on a desk crossing his arms over his chest
"Is it really?" – Asked Peter as he put Jameson on the bed of the private investigator as he was carrying him over his shoulder as well
"In my bed? Really Peter?" – Complained Phillip
"Hey! You have two passed out people and limited space" – pointed out Peter
"What happened to Mr. Hell anyway?" – Asked Phillip
"I think he just used all his energy during the fight and taking out the ruby from Jameson's chest" – said Blade
"How come? He is the son of a devil, his power should be limitless" – said Phillip
"I did think it was weird, but nobody has limitless powers, not even someone as powerful as The Scarlett Witch or The Phoenix" – explained Blade
"But I have seen his powers acting before and he use more of them the last time we worked together" – said Phillip
"Something must be happening then, but that's something for him to answer and you to ask him" – said Blade – "in any case..." – he trailed taking something out of his jacket and putting it over the private investigator's desk – "...you should ask him as well if he knows something about this ruby" – he added
"Are you kidding? You are leaving him with that Blade? And with Jameson right there who might take it back?" – Asked Morbius
"I trust Jones will stop him if it's needed, we should have trust him from the start" – said Blade – "besides he must know more about that than any of us, unless you wanna go to the New York Sanctum and ask about it, they may know what it is and also took interest when they see two vampires and Khonshu's avatar around them" – he added
