"See you guys later."

The three boys in the backseat get out of the car.

Driving away, the boys are left standing at the end of Sams driveway, Colby saying he can just walk home from there.

Liam begins to walk to the house.

Sam takes a second before following suit.

"Wait-" Colby reaches out.

He takes ahold of Sams hand.

"Sam I-"

"Colby," Sam whispers.

He turns around and looks up at him.

"I just want to-"

"Leave it Colby. I'm tired, okay?"

Colby frowns, nodding his head.

"All I need is a minute, please?" He begs softly.

"Leave me alone, Colby. You've done enough."

Sam pulls his hand out from his grip.

Glancing back at the brunette with a sad look, he shakes his head.

"Go home."

Colby frowns, tears brimming his eyes.

The blonde walks towards his house, not daring to look back at the boy.

"I'm so sorry.." Colby mumbles sadly, dropping his head as he turns around.

He glances back once more seeing the blonde out of sight, the front door closing.

He sighs, walking to his own home.

"Hey.. uhm Sam?" Liam bites his lip nervously.

Sam looks up at him from his bed.

Liam fresh out of the shower.

"Can we- can we talk? About earlier?" He asks hesitantly.

He's paying attention to his words.

Being careful with how he words things.

Sam frowns, nodding his head as he sits up a bit.

"Yeah, I guess so."

Liam sits on the bed across from him.

It falls silent for a moment.

"I'm sorry."

Liam finally blurts.

"What I said was really inconsiderate. I didn't mean for things to turn out how they did when I said that,"

"Than why'd you say it?" Sam asks quietly.

"I- I dunno.. I guess I was just upset? In a way I was, you just kept disappearing without me and I felt left out. I didn't even want to go, Sam, I wanted to stay here.. with you. I was upset you agreed to go because I wanted it to be just us today, I know that's all it ever is but that's why I really was planning to go do something today with just you, yes, I didn't know exactly where, but I still wanted to be with just you."

Sam frowns, dropping his head.

Now he just feels bad, it's actually all his fault.

"I'm sorry.. I- I didn't know I-"

"I know that, and it's okay.. I don't hate you for it I understand you just wanted to get out."

Liam cuts him off.
